Brantley already raved about THE FERRYMAN in London. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doubled on the praises for the NYC production.

Call the member hotline. They’ve usually been very helpful if the request is within reason. Can’t necessarily define “within reason” though!
Pretty big following? The thing is, they don't need to explain this situation at all. If you want to see the show, see the show. If you have connections with specific actors, ask them directly (not that randoms don't inundate their social media accounts with such pettiness).
The "OPENING NIGHT: (DATE OF OPENING)" Playbills are often handed out at the theatre during press nights (week before through week after). Some producers, as many have mentioned, opt to put the Playbill opening night sticker for a fee.
Two shows come to mind that did something different... Red with Molina and Redmayne had gold stickers with the logo of the show and opening night date; Priscilla, Queen of the Desert had the word P
