How refreshing it is to not see an obligatory steel truss hanging in the house with lighting instruments. Looks like the front of house lights are hidden behind those ceiling arches? Not sure about where the side front of house lighting ladders are (unless this show's design doesn't call for those lighting positions).
as someone that previously worked there, I was absolutely stunned by what they did to the space, it is truly beautiful and i highly believe the folks behind the design and renovation should receive a special Tony award for their efforts its not simply a renovation this is turning a set into a theater
Wow it's really fascinating. Would this remain after HP closes?
While it seems there's been an overall massive improvement to the beauty of the interior, I do wonder what happened to the elements from the demolished theatres, I suppose they're just underneath all this?
As someone lucky enough to have been inside for the first performance, the space is STUNNING. Top to bottom. The whole lobby is even carpeted in H for Harry carpeting. And there’s H wallpaper throughout the entire thing as well. They’ve set down roots and clearly have no intention of moving ANYtime soon! A gorgeous, GORGEOUS redesign for a stunning show!
