Hi, gang!

Quick question: Has anyone sat in seat C-12, at the table? Looking for perspective on view and interaction with the actors. Any insight appreciated!

Thanks in advance! .

I believe I sat in the seat across and there is definitely interaction (front row, right?). Assuming nothing's changed since when I saw with Norm Lewis, I recall the person across from me being involved one of, if not, the most. I highly recommend it!

YUP! (although you'll be turned and looking over your right shoulder for much of it.
I was across in C1 (my friend, nicknamed "Killer Bob" was so jealous of the interaction). We asked the guys in those seats if it was a problem and they both said they were great.

Maybe C-1 would be better vantage point, less turning?

Yes. I think C1 is probably the best seat in the house.

Absolutely, you don't have to move as much.

Has anyone won the lottery? Or do you know where the lottery seats are?

I won the lottery for this last November and got a seat in the last row of the orchestra section. It was PERFECT. No turning, and perfect sight lines. The orchestra section is essentially three rows behind the long dining-style tables.

I sat in C-12 in November and it was amazing. I do agree that C-1 would be better in terms of less twisting and turning during some of the scenes.  There’s definitely one-on-one interaction during one particular scene and I remember the guy who plays the Beadle telling C-1 and me that we were in the splash zone.

Yeah, choosing front of rows, my preference would probably be
C1, B1, D12, E12, C12, D1, B12, E1

So B12 is not the worst seat?  I got that seat for next month. I started to think I may have to pull off my best impression of The Exorcist to see anything.

You'll need to turn to see some things, some things will happen right in front of you, some on the table above you. They use the space, so it's not just the pie counter and the stairs the whole time...

Bald guys near the front might be referenced during the Pirelli sequence.

Hey guys, Considering purchasing tickets for my birthday at seats F1-4. Has anyone sat here/does it seem like a good place to view the show from if you've been to the theatre? Is it difficult to see the pie counter from there? Thanks in advance!

I've heard GREAT things about the side counter seating. F1-4 looks great.

Umm.....yup, I can personally attest to this haha....but it was all fun. Actually what a wonderful night we had, sat in E11&E12. Happy with the view there as we had no craning of the neck at all, everything was in front of us. But my wife and I were slightly distracted as sitting directly opposite us D2&3 were Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz.  Performers were a bit taken aback when they saw them as well. What a memorable evening all the way around :)

Anyone have any word on the rotating seats? I have B7, B8, and B9 for next month. Should I be warming up my neck for a night of twisting and turning?

I went for the immersive seating when I saw it this past weekend, and oh my goodness was it worth the price! This is one of the most unique theatrical productions I've ever had the privilege to attend.

Same!! Nothing like getting threatened by Hugh Panaro with a razor to make you wet yourself in both joy and a tiny bit of fear

Kind of jealous of that experience, but it was really neat having Jake Boyd and Eryn LeCroy singing "Johanna" right in front of us!

If twisting seats are what's in the budget would you recommend B-9, E-1, or E-2?

Thanks

Out of curiosity, is there anyone in-the-know reading this who can give some idea of this show's potential longevity? It's already run a lot longer than I expected - which is delightful because I saw this in London and it was one of the best theatrical experiences I've ever had. I would love to see this again in NYC...

The last I saw, they were booking through at least May, but that doesn't rule out extending.

Just to chime in, I sat in E1 this weekend and had turn around for most of the show. I did have a lot of interaction with cast though, Sweeney even offered me a little priest ??

And how cute is the current Antony? I hope to see more of him in New York!
