I didn't buy a rush ticket, but wanted to share that I saw the production again last night (I saw the very first preview on Broadway) and it is still in tip-top shape. It's a rare delight to be able to see a show this far along in its Broadway run with most of the original cast still in place. They are all still stellar and are giving what I'm presuming will be the definitive performances in these roles. We saw one understudy: Happy McPartlin was playing the role of Beverly Bass last night and she was exceptional (she is also a dead ringer for the photos of the real Bass during her American Airlines days).
The show is so moving, well crafted and brilliantly staged. I'm thrilled its continue to find such strong audiences and hope it does well on tour and internationally.

Posted: 11/8/18 at 2:41pmI saw the show last week and it is still amazing. The day I saw it, it had 5 understudies and no one missed a beat. Julie Reiber is usually the first cover for Beverly, so I have to assume she was/is on vacation this week.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Posted: 11/8/18 at 3:01pmWow! I can't imagine how difficult it would be to understudy in this show. One of the ushers said it was actually Happy McPartlin's first performance playing Beverly Bass, and I couldn't believe how accomplished she was. Jenn Collela is pretty irreplaceable in that part, but McPartlin certainly didn't disappoint.

My parents are coming to NYC for the first time next week. Considering rushing for this, but I want their first Broadway show to be a great experience. I know no one can guarantee seating locations but just generally speaking...do you feel like the rush view seats are "worthy" of a first-time Broadway experience? (We rushed Ferryman last weekend and our seats were awful and we are accustomed to rushing/partial view...these were BY FAR the worst we've gotten) If so, I assume Friday would be a better day to rush than Saturday? How early are people arriving these days, especially as the weather is getting colder (looks like there's even a bit of a chance of rain/wintry mix next Friday -_- )? I think after a day of being out and about with lots of walking they'll prefer rush to SRO. Thanks for any insights you can offer!

I rushed yesterday (Weds 11/14). I got there around 9:30am and was probably 15th-20th in line. I got a standing room ticket for the matinee but the person in front of me got 2 rush seats for the evening.
The show is INCREDIBLE. The whole cast (especially those OBC) are still on fire. We had 3 standbys also great as well. There is still an electricity in the theatre that has gone away from long-running hits I've seen recently. I hope Come From Away is around for years to come.

My wife and I are coming to the city (from South Carolina) next weekend and was wondering if anyone could advise on what the rush lines look like now. I know January is a little slower than Nov/Dec so would a 9:30 arrival probably get us some seats?

Hi. Has anyone done rush lately? I'm hoping to get rush tickets for the matinee this Wednesday (3/27) and am trying to figure out what time to get to the theater. I'm going with a friend who can't do standing room, so it would have to be an actual rush seat. Do we think 8:30am will be okay or should we aim to get there earlier?

I can pretty much guarantee that you will not get a rush seat if you arrive close to 10am. If you're lucky, since it's a two show day, you might get a SRO ticket.

Posted: 3/30/19 at 1:38pmI rushed this morning & 1st few people in line before 8am. Around 13 people a little after 830am. Over 45 people by the time box office at 10am. Other shows on the street around 8am: Hilary & Clinton has 3, 1 at ferryman, 2 at dear Evan.

hi - i wanted to add my recent rush experience since I often look at the message boards when making my rush plans.
My daughter and I rushed CFA this week (Tuesday, April 22). We see a lot of theater but had not seen this one yet. From reading some of the messages and just knowing there are not many of seats for this - I wanted to be successful so we got there at 7:30 am and we were first in line. The next person came just before 8am. Then a few more at 8:30. I definitely saw about 8 people (including the 2 of us) from the line in the morning in their seats that night. by 10 am there were 22 people in line.
If you want tickets for sure - be there before 9 am. We LOVED the show!

Curious what the Rush/SRO line has been like for Saturdays? I'm hoping to get two tickets for the evening show tomorrow for my mom's birthday. We don't care if we stand or not, just want to be able to get tickets. Looking for advice on times to get there mostly -- I am not one to wake up at the crack of dawn but also don't want to miss out because I decided to sleep in an extra half hour haha

Posted: 4/27/19 at 10:19amJust an update: arrived at 8:20am was 11th in line. They apparently only had 10 rush seats for tonight. By the time they got up to me they only had standing room. There were 16 standing rooms left after I purchased. Line was fairly long behind me - didn’t count but at least 30-40 others behind me
