Saw the show tonight in Tampa, having last show it during the first week of previews on Broadway. While it lacks a little bit of the sparkle and magic I felt the first time seeing this production (I blame the touring audience and size of the house), it's still an insanely good show with an insanely talented (!!!) cast. Making comparisons between Midler and Buckley is impossible for me, but I found Buckley to be a fabulous Dolly. I particularly enjoyed Nic Rouleau and Jess LeProt
I won the lotto tonight. Row S, technically partial view. However, the whole rear orchestra was empty. I know this has been selling well so I'm wondering if a big group wasn't able to make it because of the weather? Either way, I was able to move down to Row M right before the show started.
The audience eats it up, and the more I thought about it on the train home, the more I loved it. It's problematic - yes. The structure is a bit all over the place. Some moments too l
I rushed yesterday (Weds 11/14). I got there around 9:30am and was probably 15th-20th in line. I got a standing room ticket for the matinee but the person in front of me got 2 rush seats for the evening.
The show is INCREDIBLE. The whole cast (especially those OBC) are still on fire. We had 3 standbys also great as well. There is still an electricity in the theatre that has gone away from long-running hits I've seen recently. I hope Come From Away is around for years to c

Does the website list the understudies for the tour? The bios won’t load on a mobile version.
American Psycho was one of the best experiences I've ever had at the theatre. The only show I've ever seen twice within a week. "Hip To Be Square" was absolutely thrilling and "Not An Exit" is one of my favorite finales in modern musicals. I haven't seen a cast working that hard onstage in a while.
Ughhh, how I wish I could see this again! A) because it's amazing. Truly all of it. From Bette to every chorus member. And don't even get me started on the chills I had during Sunday Clothes. A highlight of just about any Broadway show I've seen.
But B) because I agree with other posters, the audience was QUITE distracting. The ushers are doing their best, but LOTS of cell phones and cameras. I saw someone removed from a box seat after a house manager had to come back a sec
I caught a matinee of Sunset Boulevard 2 weeks ago and never really got around to a review, but I was simply blown away by everything! Glenn Close gives a performance I feel lucky to say I've witnessed. I got chills during "As If We Never Said Goodbye" and I LOVE that the cast applauds onstage. Must truly be something special for them to be a part of it every night. The rest of the cast is great as well. Run to see it before it closes!
Hoping for RAVES! I preferred this to both Hello Dolly and Sunset Boulevard (not by much...but still preferred it!) One of my favorite revivals and theatrical experiences in recent memory!
Saw the show tonight (Tuesday). It's damn near perfect, if not there. After catching Sunset Boulevard, Hello Dolly, Cats, and Miss Saigon over the last couple of days, Miss Saigon takes the prize for me. The whole cast is strong and committed, from the leads - Eva Noblezada and John Jon Briones are stellar - to the ensemble, who are working their (very fit) asses off. "The Heat Is On", "The Morning of the Dragon", and the Moulin Rouge scene are STUNNING.
I dawn DEH for the first time this Friday night and was just as blown away as I've been by all the other greats in contemporary musical theatre. Ben Platt's performance is super human. The whole cast is really incredible, but besides Platt, the performance I can't get over is Rachel Bay Jones. I'd not read much about her in DEH, but she was tremendous and absolutely heartbreaking. I hope she is awarded this Tony season. I have a feeling we will see some love for her and Platt.
I saw last night's preview performance (Saturday), and I will agree, it's glorious as everyone says! Bette is giving a performance you feel lucky to witness. Gavin Creel and Taylor Trensch are standouts for me as well. Beanie Feinstein as well, where has she been?! Will Burton and Melanie Moore have probably the smallest featured roles, but have a really great dance duet during the contest. But the real winners for me are that ensemble!!! Just mesmerizing. Every single dancer was
I've not done Mezz partial view, but I scored a partial view ticket last night on the aisle of the 4th row in the Orchestra. All I missed was the band, but I think any rows in front of me partial view would have missed significantly more.
I live and work in entertainment in Orlando. My house is not even a mile from the night club, where several of my dancer and performer friends frequent. The whole thing feels surreal and I haven't been this upset and immobile as long as I have lived in this city.
That being said, the one thing I have been looking forward to all day is the Tony Awards. My friends and family here in Orlando need the Tonys. I absolutely cannot wait.
I loved every second of School of Rock and can't wait to see them perform "You're In The Band" on Sunday night! Hoping this one gets a long, healthy run.
