Waitress Rush Tickets Aug 23

Can’t speak exactly for how it is since the new cast members just started, but I would imagine 4-5am is way too early for this show. We saw it a few days before this new cast change and arrived at 10:05am and got 2 tickets easily. Granted I think arriving that late for this new cast is probably too late. I would assume like 7-8 would be fine. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though, maybe this new cast is generating much more interest

Update: just finished seeing tonight’s show. Thought the current cast was wonderful! Last time I saw it, Jason Mraz was the doctor so this current guy, to me, wasn’t my favorite, but overall thought he did a good job. Alison was AMAZING! Thought she made such a perfect Jenna. I had the chance of sitting a few rows back in orchestra so was able to see every last emotion on her face and it was all perfect! Great voice, great acting, great emotions and overall just a beautiful performance! I had ho

My friend got to the box office around 9:45-10ish (no clue about what number in line she was or anything) for tonight and we got Orchestra Row E seats 1 and 3 - it’s house left but the first two seats in the isle so essentially as close to the middle as we can get without being in center orchestra! I’m pumped!!

I want to see it because I feel like we should see at least one flashy comedy show on our trip but I've heard a lot about the trans controversy, and I'm also not really impressed with the score. Although I'm guessing the experience is much different in person. Thoughts?"
I found absolutely nothing about Tootsie controversial. In my opinion, if you were able to watch the Mrs. Doubtfire movie without feeling
I agree with a majority of what's been said so far on this thread:
Hadestown if you have the money - very unique
I've heard Moulan Rouge is really beautiful and awesome set design - may be up your alley since you're used to Disney shows and the bigger/flashier ones
Come From Away is my go to recommendation for everyone no matter what age/gender/race/etc. It is, to me, a perfect show and just checks off every box for me. It's simplistic in it's set desi
Looking for other reviews of the current cast. I'm hoping to rush tomorrow and curious how everyone has been doing. Will update with rush seat location if I get them :)
I'll probably be in the majority here, but here it goes:
I'm a 27 year old female, LOVED Be more Chill, and typically love all of the shows geared towards "younger" audiences - usually just love all the hidden "adult" things they throw in and usually good messages throughout, plus usually also flashy and high energy.
That being said, I saw Lightening Thief when it toured in New York a few months ago - went in completely blind without kno

When I saw a Aladdin a few years ago, during A Whole New World, the magic carpet malfunctioned at the end of the song and just kept spinning in a circle. Had to close curtains and stop the show for about 5 minutes. When the show re-started the curtains opened and it was a scene of Aladdin helping jasmine off the carpet into the window and he blurts our, “I’m really glad I got your back safely” in an overly obvious joking way and the audiences laughed for about a 1-2 minutes straight. Both Jasmin

Got there at 7pm for the 8pm and they had no rush or standing room (not a sold out show) but had tix for $169 - I politely declined haha. I shall try again. If/when I get tickets I’ll report back on seat location for others!

Oh I didn’t realize! I could have sworn I read people saying they got bad seats but it could very well be outdated info or I could be confusing it with another show. That makes me feel better, I’m heading over in a bit to try for a decent seat or a good stand :)
Anyone know if all of the original cast have typically been performing on Saturdays? I have seen the show a few times and wanted to take my mom to see it before closing and was hoping for all the original cast to be playing as normal instead of understudies. Of course I know the understudies will be great and I also know it's hard to predict for the future, but just wondering what the past few weekends have been like. Pretty much I am going to try and rush it on Saturday, and if ther
Anyone have any idea who's supposed to be going on tonight? I would like to see Noah Galvin before he leaves, and according to his instagram I'm prettyyy sure he's still in it. Also has anyone tried standing room recently? I loved the view last time I did it about 1.5 years ago. I know they are strict about it and only do when show is sold out but that's what I'll be hoping to get. I can only go to the box office after work close to show time anyway, so I think my chances

Erich Bergen, who has previously been in the show, has come back to reprise the role of Dr. P. Noah Galvin will be in probably until whenever Todrick Hall and Colleen Ballinger come in because Todrick is his replacement."
Thanks for the info!

I haven’t had too many people ask me for ID when picking up lotto tickets, however given you most likely have a female name and your husband does not, they may think twice and ask to check ID - rendering his attempt to be the one to pick them up as unsuccessful. I would call and ask like the other poster here suggested and if not probably be prepared to get them yourself, unfortunately.
Also or the poster asking about printing them out - I haven’t seen a single current digital lottery t
Is seeing Oklahoma worth the cost? Jun 11

I saw it last week for the first time after winning the lottery. It was MOST certainly worth the price I paid for the lotto ticket and then some! I knew nothing about the show, never heard the music, didn’t know the story (I know it’s a classic, but something I had missed in the past). I LOVED it!!! Thought they did such a great job and the theater they are in - circle in the square - is incredibly unique and intimate. I honestly have no clue how they have ever done this show at a different thea
Ive already seen some chatter here about that performance - very weird they used a song from a current show that had one nomination and didnt even give credit to the person who created it. I get its a parody and not necessarily needed, but struck me as a little odd.
Anyway, thats not the point of starting this thread. It was actually to ask a semi-unrelated question than to share my opinion: how does it work monetarily that they used th
Be More Chill or The Prom? Jun 6
2019, 05:52:42 PM
I’ll start off saying that I am a huge fan of Be More Chill. I saw the Prom a while ago when it first came out and while I laughed a considerable amount of time I was a little underwhelmed and frankly wasn’t as in love with it as I thought I’d be z
That being said: I think your parents would enjoy the Prom way more than Be More Chill. It has a more “mature” feel to it and a little more of a classic Broadway type of show. While be more chill is great, it’s very Sci-if-esque and is for su

When I won, I purchased within minutes of getting the notification. Seat was mezzanine 2nd row all the way to the left - definitely partial view. Had the lighting system that’s next to the box seats in my way. That being said the view wasn’t actually horrible. I felt close to the stage and was able to see mostly berthing. I ended up finding an empty mezzanine
