Thanks yes email notifications are on. Oh didn’t realize it was till 4pm, that’s helpful. I once won a lottery after standby (forget which show) but had 12 minutes to claim! Was hoping this wasn’t something similar.

Was just wondering if anyone who was placed on the standby was notified whether they won or lost yet. I got the notification that Im on standby yesterday at 8am and have been refreshing the broadway direct lottery page like every 10-15 minutes. Still just says standby. Im getting tired or refreshing a million times per day yet dont want to find out I won and then missed the opportunity to claim the tickets. I play lotteries all the time and usually with standby they tell you within a few hours.

So finallyyy saw Little Shop on Saturday!! I really loved it. I hadn’t seen the movie or broadway production in MANY years so not sure if it was the nostalgia of seeing/hearing it again or not, but I found myself smiling the entire time.
As I said in previous posts, I brought my brother who had never seen the move/show and didn’t know the story. He really liked it, but his first thoughts after it ended was, “wow that was a weird story” lol. I honestly forgot how nonsensical the story is

Interested in hearing thoughts from people who have never seen the movie or show in the past and are coming in totally blind. (I know that’s probably not many people haha)
I’m super excited to see this in about a week and a half (have seen the movie and broadway version many many years ago). I’m bringing my older brother who, for reasons unknown, has never seen it and knows almost nothing about the story. I see a lot of mixed reviews on here, and unfortunately most seem to lean in the n

Not sure if there’s another thread for it, but would LOVE to hear how the Pasadena version goes in the next coming days/weeks! I have a ticket to LA and for the show in mid-October and can’t wait!!!

Hey how did you get a $10 ticket to Scotland, PA?

Agreed with the above poster. What shows are you specifically trying to see?
From my experience, I can tell you I have essentially never bought a ticket in advance and always do rush/lottery/standing room. The only thing is that they typically aren’t great seats - often times partial view or if not than extreme sides which may as well be partial view. Every now and then stub hub has some good prices too, especially close to show time. TKTS sounds like a great option for you depending o

Agreed with whoever said before about needing to lean forward. I got a seat booster and leaned forward the entire time, but that didn’t really bother me"
Maybe not, but I'm sure it bothered the people behind you whose view you were blocking by leaning forward."

I had the opportunity to see this show a few months ago for veryyy cheap in the balcony. It’s an interesting view. You’re essentially watching it from a birds eye view, but I thought it sort of added to the experience. I’m sure the view isn’t soooo much better from orchestra or mezzanine but if price is an issue and you have an opportunity to see it

I got my ticket through the lottery (and moved my seat during intermission to more center) - the person sitting next to me when I had moved my seat said she did the lottery and was placed in orchestra row G last seat on the right. She said the view wasn’t too great and was happy she moved

will be joining you tonight, I won as well!! Can’t wait to see where the seats are located. Will report back!
Edit: got orchestra row C seat 16 - essentially second seat in all the way house right. It was an okay seat. Could see the actors fine but the right half of the stage was sort of obstructed. Not

Can’t speak exactly for how it is since the new cast members just started, but I would imagine 4-5am is way too early for this show. We saw it a few days before this new cast change and arrived at 10:05am and got 2 tickets easily. Granted I think arriving that late for this new cast is probably too late. I would assume like 7-8 would be fine. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though, maybe this new cast is generating much more interest

Update: just finished seeing tonight’s show. Thought the current cast was wonderful! Last time I saw it, Jason Mraz was the doctor so this current guy, to me, wasn’t my favorite, but overall thought he did a good job. Alison was AMAZING! Thought she made such a perfect Jenna. I had the chance of sitting a few rows back in orchestra so was able to see every last emotion on her face and it was all perfect! Great voice, great acting, great emotions and overall just a beautiful performance! I had ho

My friend got to the box office around 9:45-10ish (no clue about what number in line she was or anything) for tonight and we got Orchestra Row E seats 1 and 3 - it’s house left but the first two seats in the isle so essentially as close to the middle as we can get without being in center orchestra! I’m pumped!!

I want to see it because I feel like we should see at least one flashy comedy show on our trip but I've heard a lot about the trans controversy, and I'm also not really impressed with the score. Although I'm guessing the experience is much different in person. Thoughts?"
I found absolutely nothing about Tootsie controversial. In my opinion, if you were able to watch the Mrs. Doubtfire movie without feeling
I agree with a majority of what's been said so far on this thread:
Hadestown if you have the money - very unique
I've heard Moulan Rouge is really beautiful and awesome set design - may be up your alley since you're used to Disney shows and the bigger/flashier ones
Come From Away is my go to recommendation for everyone no matter what age/gender/race/etc. It is, to me, a perfect show and just checks off every box for me. It's simplistic in it's set desi
Looking for other reviews of the current cast. I'm hoping to rush tomorrow and curious how everyone has been doing. Will update with rush seat location if I get them :)
I'll probably be in the majority here, but here it goes:
I'm a 27 year old female, LOVED Be more Chill, and typically love all of the shows geared towards "younger" audiences - usually just love all the hidden "adult" things they throw in and usually good messages throughout, plus usually also flashy and high energy.
That being said, I saw Lightening Thief when it toured in New York a few months ago - went in completely blind without kno
