Superhero at Second Stage Mar 2

I’ve been checking the TKTS app every day lately in preparation for a trip to NY in a few weeks. Can anyone tell me why it always says Superhero is $75 regardless of whether it says it’s 30% or 50% off??

Really? That’s super disappointing. I guess there’s no way to find out on the day if anyone’s out before getting tickets?
Waitress Rush Tickets Feb 17

Hi, I’ll be in NYC in late March and was wondering when I’d have to line up for rush tickets on a Sunday (for the evening show). Given Sara isn’t starring anymore will I still need to get there quite early?

I’ve been keeping an eye on the TKTS app in preparation for my trip in a month. I noticed that at 7pm Be More Chill was listed but it hadn’t been when I checked earlier at 5:30.
Hey guys, haven't been to NYC since 2011... Is it true that the Broadway merchandise store near the Marriott Marquis is no longer there? And if not, where else do you recommend?
Oh god I'm so upset. Finally booked this because "there's nothing else on Mondays" and literally a day later I find out that's when Miscast is on... shattered. There's no way to exchange tickets is there? Looks like I can't even do ticketmaster resale because I don't have a US bank account. And there's still heaps of seats left which means probably no one would even buy them if i could, right? Man I'm so bummed. Santino better be on...

Just joined up online and when I selected a date in late March it came up with prices e.g. $169 and so I put the code in and then it just came up with a message "Unfortunately, this performance is not currently available for purchase. If you are using a promo code, please try another performance date or remove the promo code". Anyone know how far in advance you can book for the $25 Hiptix tickets?"

Question for those who have said they've turned up at the box office and got standard orchestra seats for the coming week for $229. How are those seats available?? Do they just NOT put all available seats on Ticketmaster so the dodgy reselling pricks can't get em? And are they usually just single seats? Going with a friend in late March.
Can anyone tell me why exactly the online fees are so high? In Australia we have to pay about $8AU in fees for 2 tickets - which is about $5 US. For Broadway they seem to generally be four or five times that! What gives?

Thanks for your response :) I'm now thinking I might hold off - there are still heaps of seats - seems like they could be discounted further closer to the time? Would it be unusual for a show
I'm planning to get tickets to Tootsie on Mon 1st April because it's one of the few shows on that date. I noticed that once previews are over they will no longer be doing Mondays. Is it pretty safe to say that on 1st April which is only the third preview, that Santino is likely to be on? Like it wouldn't be written into his contract that he has Mondays off, or something like that? I assume they wouldn't put an understudy on THAT early unless Santino was actually sick. Thoughts
Here I Am said: " I’m pretty sure the box office is open every day, including non-performance days. But I’m not sure if you can get cancellation seats the day before before a performance. If I’m wrong, someone correct me. "
I’ve seen various people on here saying they went the day before or a few days before a performance and were able to get decent orchestra seats at $229.
Poconopanther said: "The easy answer is the cancellation line is not AS crazy as in the past. I’ve seen Hamilton twice, both times using the cancellation line. Most recently (2-14-18) I was walking past and the cop that controls that block herd us talking about the show. He said “tonight’s the night...short line.” Forty Five minutes later, just before the curtain, we were ushered to our seats (Center orchestra, Row F, on the aisle). The cost $219 each.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question... what is the deal with cancelled tickets actually? People who have tickets ring up and say they’re not going anymore??? And how is it the case that you can just go up and ask if there are tickets for a few days time and get good ones - they’re cancelled tickets too?
Frozen Lottery Dec 2

Wow, these lottery seats sound terrible. Is this a particularly bad case of lottery seats or do most shows offer very partial view seats for lotteries?
