2019 Tony Awards Performances May 1

It’s probably a controversial choice as it contains almost no principals but I would LOVE to see Love thy Neighbor from The Prom as it just has such a great message. And was my fav song in the show.

I’m looking to see this show next Friday night, but for a good deal based on what I’ve heard here. The best deal I could find is the playbill code which is like 30% off, still around $100 each through telecharge? Is there another deal I could find where I can still pick my seat in advance? Or is rush the
Wow, what’s with all the Eddie Perfect hate? I liked the score - it was miles better than Tootsie, Be More Chill or the awful Pretty Woman. I have only seen King Kong in Australia when the songs were written by a mixture of artists so I’m not familiar with his score for that. Perhaps he has a particular Australian sensibility that is lost on international audiences; i’m not sure.
I liked Alex Brightman’s performance for the most part though I did

I’m Australian and yes, there is plenty of racism in Australia.

My friend won for last Saturday night. We’d only entered about a week’s worth of shows at the time so pretty lucky. We were centre orchestea in the front row - amazing seats!

We won lottery on our second attempt. Don’t know if it’s easy to win or if we just got lucky. Although don’t know if I should say lucky given how lacklustre a show it was. We saw 17 shows in our 2 weeks and it ranked 16th.

At what point do shows usually start selling programs? Wanted to get a Hadestown program but we leave on Wednesday... and shipping to Australia costs the same as the actual program... is it usually not until after opening? Does Be More Chill have programs yet? We are seeing that on Tuesday

Ah yes, of course! I momentarily forgot all about them. Well I’m glad those dodgy pricks didn’t make any money.
Just wanted to thank those who gave advice on turning up at the box office at the start of a trip and asking if they had seats for any dates in the upcoming week or so. We went to the box office on 22/3 and asked if they had anything until the end of the month and she said she could do Wed 27/3 8pm. Seats were left orchestra row C next to the aisle. $235 each. We were so happy!!! Loved the show! A dream come true.
What was disappointing though was to see 3 empty seats in

So my friend got an email yesterday saying he’d won the lottery. We were so excited. Then the site wouldn’t accept the payment and when he rang telecharge they said it was a mistake and he wasn’t meant to win. So frustrating!! They said maybe they could find us tickets for another night but they wouldn’t know for at least a week. Not much use to us as we’ll be back in Australia by then. Ugh.

My friend got there at 10:40am on Sunday and was 6th in line. He said no one else joined the line until 11:15 and then a bunch more arrived by 12 (not sure how many or how many got tix, sorry). We got Orch G 9-11 which were on the end but full view, great seats. I was in the rush line for Waitress and was able to score evening tickets for that so it wa

I'm going with a friend who can't do standing room, so it would have to be an actual rush seat. Do we think 8:30am will be okay or should we aim to get there earlier?"
Did you go goose29? Any luck? We are considering rushing Saturday morning but prob wouldn’t get there until

It was at the TKTS booth for $112 from 3pm when they opened and we got 2 together when we turned up at the booth soon after 6pm. Seats were front row left side B3&5. Hardly missed anything from there. Brilliant show. So happy we saw it.

We turned up at the rush line at 9:40- were about 40th in line so obviously didn’t get far! No standing room tix are going to be offered during previews apparently. We heard multiple people say it was sold out for tonight... but then at 3pm we noticed it was on TKTS for $112. At 6pm we went to TKTS and got 2 tickets which were in the front row, B 3-5. Great view of everything and WOW. It is a brilliant show.
alex814 said: "Apologies for the bump. Has anyone rushed the show or walked passed the rush line during Shoshana's run?"
Went today (Sunday) at 10:40am (box office opened 12pm). I was 15th in line and at least another 17 were behind me by 12. I’m fairly sure everyone got tickets for the 2 shows.

They announced a digital lottery but every time I try to enter its closed, even within the supposed window. Are they not doing this any more?
RWPrincess said: "I didn't realize they published timing for this but I noticed last night that the digital option had disappeared completely. Maybe Spring Break sales are stronger than expected."
Seems pretty dodgy to say there’s a digital lottery and then wipe it without warning?

Jeremy Jordan doesn’t start until 8th april. I leave NY on the 2nd noooooo
I've been keeping an eye on the TKTS app ahead of a trip next week and noticed that Superhero always says $75 whether it says 30% off or 50% off. What gives? Today Tix seems much better value but is there an error? Should the 50% off ones be cheaper than $75?
