Does anyone have thoughts on what seats are better: non-twisting table seats or counter seats? Thanks!

I sat at counter F and the view was perfect, the only thing is that since the musicians were right next to us sometimes it was hard to hear the actors over the music. I would sit at counter A if I were you.

Thanks! I was actually thinking the counter rows G and H- didn't realize the edges were also called counter. Did you have to twist around a lot in F?

There is an aisle behind F that the actors used and I would twist to look at them because I was interested but not because anything was actually happening behind me. You could not twist at all and miss nothing.

I sat in counter F and I loved it, because I think it provided an excellent view of all the action without forcing me to turn around a lot. Having said that, I think counter A (directly opposite counter F) would have been even better. You get the same benefits as counter F, but additionally you are closer to the pie shop counter where a large portion of the action takes place. I haven't actually sat in those seats, so I may be missing something. But that's my guess based on what I observed.

Definitely go for either counter A (house left) or G (first row behind tables).

We sat at a counter behind all the tables and it was perfect. I don't know the letter, but I would think either side would be great.  You're facing the stage and you have a counter, so you can eat pie. I loved this production; It was a blast.

Bumping this for another seat question - I have the choice of A-1, A-5, or B-3. For those who have been before, which would be best? Is there a significant difference between the B and A sections (looking at the price difference and since I'm already seeing two shows that weekend, it would be nice to save a bit, but I want to ensure a great view).

I sat in A1. Great seat. Also, if like to drink during show, A seats allow for that. B seats don’t. Also, A seats don’t require any twisting and turning to see. B seats will a bit. Also, A1 is an aisle seat so that’s nice plus you are right next to the pie shop counter. B seats will have some closeup encounters with some of the cast. But A1 has one direct encounter with a cast member. In short, I’m a fan of A1. Lol

The place is so tiny, anything on the floor is going to be good (except maybe the twisting seats). I went and sat in E7 (which seems to now be a handicap companion seat in the new block of tickets) and it was great.

My gf wants to go so I just bought tickets a few days ago. Was trying to decide between Row G counter and Row H counter. Really wanted to do G, but depending on where you sit it’s $40-$65 more a ticket to sit in G over H. I can’t justify spending $80-$130 more total to sit 3 feet closer in a tiny tiny theater.

Are there any particular seats where immersion/cast interaction is best? Looks like I have another date option where even more seats are still available, so my choices seem pretty wide open at this point. Figure if I'm going to splurge on this I should go for a seat that gets the best overall experience.

Miles2Go2 mentioned A1 has a good cast encounter moment. I'd also read in another thread that C1 might also have some good interaction?

I saw it from C12 last week and got some interaction. C1 (the seat across from me) also had a startling moment (don’t want to give it away).

Has anyone sat in J1 on the ground level and can comment on the view/experience? Much thanks

We sat in C-1 and C-12 and it was swell beyond words. "Special surprise" for C-1 was a gas but the hubbub caused my drink--which I had very carefully placed under my seat--to be spilled. It was worth it. :)  And hubs in C-12 got a little serenade of sorts. From C-1, I did occasionally want to twist around to see an actor in a back corner, but this seat is now considered so primo that they have now jacked up the four at the front of table C to be "premium." When I went they were the same price as the rest of the table and now they're like $60 more. I am going again in January and managed to get C 9-12 for the old price when I bought them last ten days ago, before the extension was announced. If money is no object, C-1 and C-12 are the bomb.

That said, if you want more of an overall view of the proceedings and don't need the immersive experience, those counters immediately behind the tables are probably pretty good. You just don't have the actors all up in your personal space.  Seat choice comes down to physical closeness versus overall perspective, and people will differ.

As for twisting seats, these are hardback benches where your back is almost right up against someone else's with a board between your shoulders. I would caution against sitting in a twisting-labeled seat all night, unless at the end of a table where you'd have more options in how to position your body comfortably.

I would probably avoid sitting upstairs, though, unless that's the only thing you can get.

Each table has a cast member walking on it multiple times. Honestly it’s such a tiny theater, the whole thing is incredibly intimate
