Favorite Stephen Sondheim Musical... Dec 19

I think Sondheim’s magnum opus is Sweeney Todd and I think that will forever be known as his ultimate “masterpiece.” HOWEVER Sunday in the Park is conclusively my favorite show of his because it is the most personal. The most vulnerable. And there will never be anything else like it.

Can anyone speak to what shows Jenny DiNoia usually does a week? I know she goes on often but just don’t know if it’s a Sunday or Saturday matinee
Fefu and her friends Dec 1

I saw this today and highly enjoyed it. It’s not a flawless play, but this production was captivating and packed a lot into 2 straight hours. Amelia Workman who played Fefu was really great

The New Group rush? Sep 19

The implication was that it would be sold at a rush price. The line I sat In was strictly a rush line, not cancellation. Totally separate. I dont think they even had a cancellation line at all

I waited In a rush line for “Daddy” for three hours prior to a performance. First one in line. I was told by box office staff the first five people would for sure be able to get in. Turns out not a single one of us got in (the line had reached about 30 people by the time 7:00 came around.) So I ‘d just plan in advance.

I hope this comes soon. I do know the show has been successful recently in gathering more investors/producers in the hopes of getting it on its feet in NY. Would love if Carmen came back to reprise her role
