Haven't really heard a lot of talk about this one here. Does anyone else really appreciate this musical? Yah? Nah?

I think it's a fun, witty, clever show.

one of my favorites.

the DVD starring Ana Gasteyer, Christian Campbell, Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell, etc is a wonderful film adaptation of the stage show!  Its so fun!

I've never seen the stage show, but I think the movie is a lot of fun. It's the silly sort of off-Broadway musical that we don't see very much anymore. Some good laughs and catchy songs.

Never seen the stage production, but the movie musical is a lot of fun. The songs are dangerously catchy, especially since you can't exactly go around singing them when they're stuck in your head.

If I had a nickel for every time I had to stop myself from belting "when Jack gets stoned and RAAAAPES MEEEEEEE" on the street...

The exploitation movie it is based on is an unintentional laugh riot and a cult classic bad movie.

That's when I first realized how fierce a singer Anna Gasteyer is.

The stage show is fun, but I actually enjoy the movie more. I think the changes they made for the Showtime version are all for the better.

And I agree the score is ridiculously catchy.

I'll have to check this out.

I saw Ana Gasteyer in Wicked. She was crazy good. I had no idea until then she could sing.

She was on the recent City Center revival of A New Brain. She also previously appeared in Wicked.

Gasteyer is a fantastic singer and a fantastic musical theatre actress in general. I'd love for her to do more stage work.

She was easily the highlight of A New Brain last summer.
