Playbill's Annual Broadway Yearbook usually comes out about this time of year (or at least is available for pre-order by now): but I don't see any sign of it on Amazon, Playbill.com or online anywhere else.

Are they still making it?

I hope so!

I didn't even realize it usually comes out now until you mentioned it. Now you've got me wondering. Maybe they're done

I love them and was also wondering about it; I have all 10 (maybe they are stopping after 10?), or maybe they decided they were obsolete now that Playbill Vault is up and running...

Is anyone going to tweet them and ask? It's not like Alex Brightman is holding their account hostage every weekend.

Such a bummer. =( I buy them almost solely for the scrapbook part one the last page of each show section; where someone is interviewed and tells about all the fun mishaps, and backstage shenanigans etc

Gutted if they are genuinely stopping this. I own every edition so far. The scrapbook section is brilliant.

Without having any direct contacts on this, my guess would be that it became too expensive because the audience it was seeking was too small or just not there.  I, too, have every edition and continue to revel in them frequently.  Pray that the same fate does not befall Theatre World, even though the editions come out way too far after any given season.  70 years ain't bad, though, and I have every edition since Volume One.  Broadway (and Off) has a limited audience appeal, with relatively few shows making that a great impression.  Tourist trade has keep the Wickeds, the Lion Kings,  and the other mega-hits alive and flourishing, but only the tri-state area audiences keep the majority of other shows going for a while;  when that audience dries up, the show closes.  Wish it were otherwise.

I hope somebody can confirm that they stopped making this.  It's my first time that I have watched every Broadway show except Holler if you Hear me last season and I was soo excited in purchasing the yearbook this year.  When I found out from one poster here from a different topic that they stopped my heart sank.   Wish it was confirmed though.  I'm still hoping they make one.

Shall I say it again?  It's not happening.

Are all of you just fretting in circles or has anyone actually asked?

If it's not happening this year, Playbill should post those "scrapbook" articles that are normally in the yearbook once in a while on their website (like the Cue and A, Two Show Day photo features).

I sent a message on the FB page and got this reply:  "Currently there are not plans for an 11th yearbook."
