"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I saw her in the original SEESAW, and again in ALLERGIST'S WIFE. It's wonderful to know that this B'way veteran will have roles as long as she wants to perform here.

Lee returns to the theater she had one of her best roles in. Back than it was the Uris & the show was Seesaw. It was an entertaining show with a great Cy Coleman score & Tommy Tune dancing & Michael Bennett directing. The mind boggles as to what he could have done had he not died way to young.
While I thankfully did not think this was Lea Michele (keep her away please!), I grew up loving Knots Landing and I also love Seesaw...getting to see her live might actually get me back to see Wicked which I said I would never do unless a friend or something got cast.

He accomplished plenty after SEESAW, Mr. Roxy.
Have you heard of A CHORUS LINE and DREAMGIRLS to name two blockbuster musical hits.
Your post reads as if Bennett passed away after SEESAW and he hadn't accomplished anything else beyond that.
