I was planning on going when it gets to SF, just for Conrad, because I adore him, but I also can't help but loving hot messes that you want to root for, and whatever it says about me, this sounds like one I'll enjoy. (Honestly, I'm just easier to please than most and not overly picky. I can recognize flaws but easily look beyond them)
I adore Courtney, but sadly that's just how she sounds. I wanted to give her benefit of the doubt when I saw the show, hoping the cast recording was just not produced well (because honestly, overall, that recording was a major let down for me. Its one of the weakest ones I've ever heard overall), but that was exactly what she sounded like live.
I was finally able to see the show tonight, and the short of it is that I really loved it! I found it incredible enjoyable with infectious energy, humor that had me laughing from beginning to end, performances that I thought were almost all standouts, and quite honestly raised the material they were performing, and endless fun, especially at a time in life where I needed a break from the real world.
The long of it, this show is flawed as others have said, it needs a lot of wo

This makes me happy to hear! Wasn’t able to go tonight, too much aldulting to do, but aim hoping to go Thursday night or friday night, if not, early next week.
The rush tickets for this are only $15 so I'm going to try and hit the First Preview since I'm off. if I like it enough, it's cheap enough that I can catch it at least one more time. I'm very curious about this one. I feel like it can go either way
Not necessarily an album, but I think Pink has some songs that could be fantastic in a musical. Either that or I'd like to see her write songs for a show. She's fantastic at telling stories in song.
Glad to hear that it sounds like there's still Rush Tickets available closer to show times. I'm getting into NYC at 330 in October on a Monday and was hoping I might be able to rush this at the last minute.
Given that they've not posted a leaving date, I feel it's safe to assume Will will still be in the show when I'm in New York a month later which is my first bit of exciting show/casting news since I decided this trip needed to happen!
So sad right now, Bandstand and Great Comet close a month before my new york trip and this starts a month after. I mean there's plenty of good shows to go see, but I would have LOVED to see this.
I just realized I never replied to anyone! Sorry guys, thank you so much for your input. I think I'm gonna let fate take the wheel and see what I get when I get there.
Just saw the news and my first thought was that it's official there will be 4 Hamilton productions running at once in the US (I know a lot of people thought Chicago would turn into the 2nd Tour), 5 overall with London. That's so fantastic so many people in the world will get to see this show on any given day. (Still curious what's gonna happen when it gets closer to the show coming back to SF, and I would be shocked if they didn't have a similar announcement for LA following t
Can I get some advice? I'm coming to NYC in October, and I'm trying to decide if I should buy my ticket in advance or wait and try for the rush. Right now, with a ticket code, there's an Orchestra ticket available on the right side, row J, Seat 2 (so right on the aisle and not super far off to the side) for $89. from what I can tell it's a really great seat for a great price, but I'm not sure where the rush seats have been since they started (I know there's probab
Oh totally, my family never goes to see musicals. In the last 20ish years my parents have seen 3 musicals and one play. And one of those was Hamilton. the others were Phantom, Chicago which was only because my mom's work did a big thing where they took a huge group, cinderella which I pushed on them as a special mother's day out, and the play was for me on my 21st birthday because they thought it would be fun for me to finally get to see a live piece of theater since I loved it so muc
I never won, but a week and a half ago at the stage door I was talking to a girl who did win. It was her second time winning (the tickets even have lotto winner printed on them) and when she told Jordan that when he was signing her ticket he made a comment about how he thinks that's how it goes, because he has a buddy who won the nyc lotto 5 times lol

Same! I love that book so much. I actually got to see Felicia as Elphaba, which was the reason I bought the book, but I got so much more than I had bargained for with it. It was very raw and honest, and I loved exploring the BTS aspect from her perspective.
For the SF Lotto, it took a few weeks for the system to even out and sent emails on time/consistently and toward the end of the run it got out of sorts again. I think it's just the high volume of entires clogs up their email system. There should be a way to manually check at the time the results are in. Our results were due in at 11am the morning of the day before the show we entered for, and if you didn't get your email right away you could put your email into the site and check resu
I would say once isn't unusual, but I've never heard of a celebrity turning around and going right back the next night. IMO that does make quite the statement.
