Sorry if this is already a thread, but I was extremely excited for the revival of Can-Can, but no future word has been released. Do you think this was scratched after reviews or are they currently reworking?
I feel bad for Kate Baldwin she needs to be starring on Broadway again. What a talent. As for Dames At Sea it's probably not happening. We haven't heard anything in a while about it.
It doesn't mean shows that are definitely coming in, it usually just means shows that somebody is actively trying to get to Broadway, although it doesn't include Shuffle Along at all, whereas Playbillvault actually gives it a theatre and an opening date.

I ran into Rachel York while in line for the ladies room during an event last year. While making small talk, I asked her about Dames going through and after stopping, clearly thinking about what she was going to say, she looked at me and said, "Well...I guess anything CAN happen, right?"
My gut says it isn't happening anytime soon with the 6 person cast they announced.
Fantod, Both shows are still listed on playbill.com on their schedule of upcoming Broadway shows. I tend to use that as the source of truth.
--- I find Playbill behind when it comes to updating their section upcoming Broadway shows. Allegiance & Color Purple have theaters and dates but it's not updated.
"Anything you do, let it it come from you--then it will be new."
Sunday in the Park with George
That list just indicates shows that had publicly expressed a Broadway-bound track... which is many shows. As has been mentioned, that list is not curated terribly well.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
That listing on Playbill is a joke. (except for the confirmed shows) some of those shows have been listed as "future" for YEARS, like Betty Boop.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
