Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike Rush |
I don't know if this helps guy I passed by the Golden On my way to rush Kinky Boots on Tuesday and saw no line for this show. That was around 930am.
I've gone two afternoons to see if they had any left (a Friday and a Wednesday, I believe) and both times they were all gone by that point.
I went on the third preview at a little after 5 and had no problem. But I imagine that with the reviews and word-of-mouth, it'll be a harder rush.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
*BUMP* Anybody else got a report for us? It's not listed on BroadwaySpotted's rush report from last week.

I rushed during previews (which could be a game-changer in terms of rush popularity) but I arrived right at 10 - before the doors were open - and there were roughly 6 people ahead of me. Got tickets without problem, which were Left Orchestra Row P. It was for a Wednesday matinee, too. Also keep in mind that each individual can buy 2 tickets, so those 6 people could have bought 12 tickets.
I rushed VSMS on Tuesday and got to the theater around 10:30am and had no problem getting to tickets in the center of the orchestra Row E.
I went on Wednesday around 1PM and got D102 of the orchestra for the evening performance. I really enjoyed the show!
I have an extremely high level of respect for producers who choose to have there rush seats be great seats.
I rushed like a month ago and got in line around 8am for a Sat matinee. The rush tickets were the last row of the mezz. It actually pissed me off because the majority of the mezz wasn't even sold. I moved up before the show started. Most of the other people moved at intermission.
"Pardon my prior Mcfee slip. I know how to spell her name. I just don't know how to type it." -Talulah
A friend rushed a two or three weeks ago on a Sunday - got there around 10am and a few other people showed up around 11, but that's it. Seats were in the middle of the rear mezz.
I rushed yesterday around 2pm for the 7pm curtain, got a wonderful ticket mid orchestra in the center! Perfect view!
what's it been like lately? anyone going post-tony's who can update me on what time to get there for a weekday?
