So, the 2012 non-Equity tour of the Addams Family has yet to launch and I can find no official press information announcing any cast members other than Jesse Sharp as Gomez and KeLeen Snowgren as Morticia, but they have already assembled the cast in full costume for a publicity photoshoot and a commercial. Clearly, they are in a small venue with a makeshift set and *not* on the set that will be seen on tour. I'm not liking that new Wednesday dress...
Because Troika purchased the package from the 1st National tour, as they *always* do, and modify it as needed for faster load ins. If you also notice, it looks like an off-Broadway or cabaret space.. and the show has not been staged yet. That's how.
^Unless you're seeing it in the OC it's not because this cast is coming to SCFTA from December 18 to the 30th after it stops in Tempe. Like you I'm eager to see Gettelfinger and Sills and have no desire to see the non-equity production.
I thought this company ends December 30th in OC. Trying to find info on line. But it is hard to tell because they might just be using old company pics on the OCPAC.ORG site.
Holy crap, Dr. Jones! Those photos look like they are for a Party City Halloween Costumes mail flyer. Ouch! Even Morticia's wig and costume looks like Halloween offerings from CVS or Walgreens!
I'm pretty sure that's not the full non-Eq cast in those photos. I'm currently on tour with the Uncle Fester that's in the cast and that's definitely not him in the pictures. Many of the cast headshots don't match the people in those photos. They are probably just other actors/models in the costumes for the shoot. That's what they did for the non-Eq Spring Awakening. (The costumes and such, I can't comment on.)
I saw the final dress rehearsal as well as another performance in New Haven, which was their first stop. I really enjoyed the show! Jennifer Fogarty (who played Wednesday) was a big standout for me ... she had an amazing voice! But the entire cast was on the top of their game and clearly excited to perform. It was a fun show :)
