If you sign up to receive email at http://www.newsiesthemusical.com/email, you'll receive an email Monday morning with a special link to purchase pre-sale tickets.
Note, any sites that are currently "selling" tickets online are 3rd party brokers who may charge inflated prices and/or additional fees.
I bought my ticket last night from tickemaster. The promo is will call only and you get a voucher for an opening night messenger bag when you pick up your tickets. Though you have to purchase before the 29th to get the offer.
Anyone else bored by that website? I dunno. Maybe it's just all the black and white newspaper stuff, which is certainly appropriate, but still boring. Maybe it will be better when they put up some pictures and show clips.
Emilyfaye48, there are a couple of single seats in the orchestra that are $104 plus fees. My seat, Row Q, 101. It worked out find for me as a single, since my friend had no interest in seeing this. It did not say it was obstructed so I'm hoping it is okay. Even if discounts came out, I didn't think I would get as good a seat. I am going Tony week and alot of tickets looked like it was already sold.
for some reason. I still can't purchase them without a code. I click on a seat and it says I need a code. is there something I'm doing wrong?
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
Dre2387, use the link that legallyjuany provided. Scroll down to the day you want and click on the Right Side where it says, more info, when tickets go on sale. It will take you the interactive map without a code.
For people who didn't get a code, this website is now selling tickets without a code needed: http://broadwaydirect.com/. Just thought people here might be interested. I just bought my tickets for April!
Just a heads up to anyone using the email link, and wanting the messenger bag....I purchased my tickets thru the link provided in the email, and the voucher was not displayed in the order as it should..it needs to be displayed in your order details in order for it to be present at the box office (so I was told by ticketmaster)...aftert a half an hour on the phone, they added the "voucher" to my order...Cant wait for May!

MelissaF, thanks for the info. My order did not list the bag either. I wall call Ticketmaster first thing in the morning. Did they give you any problem? I'm curious on why it took a half hour to resolve.
I telephoned the Disney on Broadway phone number listed in the email...they couldnt assist, so thet transferred me to ticketmaster, whom at first claimed they could not help me. I insisted that it it supposed to be note for a voucher, to be picked up at the box office with the tickets, and I think he finally added it to my order after my insistance. Make sure you have the original email to refer to!

I just got off the phone and it also took close to a half hour to resolve. I suggest also, going directly with Ticketmaster customer service instead of talking with the first represenative who can't help. There is a code attached to the order for the voucher which I could not see on my receipt. According to the represenative I spoke to in customer service, my code was indeed there, so I supposelly would not have a problem at the box office. I documented her name and id number just in case. She also told me for them to resolve any problem (also for other shows) it has to be before seeing the show not after.
