SIX (finally) headed to Broadway? Aug 6

I find it odd how fast this show is spreading, good for them! But Norwegian Cruise Line announced today that SIX will be on three of their ships starting with the NCL Bliss September 1. This usually happens well after a show has run or long in it’s run. It will rotate with Jersey Boys on the Bliss.

He’s already left they are sequestered 2 weeks before the show even starts.

I downloaded the album just to throw it in my collection, but I like the recording better than watching the show. I think you can also point out songs that could’ve been eliminated to get he run time down and if it was 90 minutes it probably would’ve been a better show.
This also makes me question what’s the point of the Dad? He’s pointless and not needed since we see no other parents, just a high school teacher.
I think act one could’ve ended a song earlier but they tried to

All these Beetlejuice noms and not one for Leslie Krtizer?! That would be the only one that would make sense.

Basically it was treated as a limited pre-broadway tryout instead of a London run.
There are changes. The ensemble was reduced from 7 to 5. Some staging changes, but really there are a ton of small lyric and movement changes that m

I dont see Salazar getting nommed, i thought he was nothing but a caricature. While i realuze I'm in the minority, i cant get behind his song either. (That was the fav of many of my students) it was too long and put upon by the character himself. "
Put me in the “not for me” category. I actually dozed off toward the end of Act 1. It was overly

I'm just wondering how heavy the strobe is? is it that scene during act II of Great Comet strobe heavy? I normally cover my eyes...I just want to know how intense it gets."

I see no reason this wouldn’t be fine for a 10 year old. There’s nothing overly sexual. If you kid can sit thru a movie they should be fine.

In DC that and the boy band (couldnt be happier they are gone!) really dragged things for me."
Yes, his song is gone and they combined two scenes, again, from DC. They really cut a lot of the secondary parts and work for the ensemble.

I saw this tonight and saw it in DC. They basically cut the first part of the opening number and starts with Sophia singing the ballad. Then the rest of the original number continues with minor tweaks. Act one isin better shape than DC. The trimmed it to where it didn’t feel overly long like in DC because there was more of them there.
The end of Act 1 changed. In DC they did the carnival where Maxi Dean and his wife where put on the hi-striker game and persumely killed, that does not h

I just got back from the matinee and wow is this show good! From the first moments the cast comes out the audience was ready. Lot’s of applause during the intros. Some audience members gave “Wait for Me” a standing O, not many, but there was long extended applause after that scene.
I’m not going to go into everything, but this is the best show I’ve seen this year and I’ve been to most of them. There was an audience member crying during bows in the front row and Andre pulls out a tissue

About to head out toward the theater now. Really looking forward to this!

Most of the creatives were 2 rows behind me and the person running the camera kept talking to them so I’m guessing it was for them to review.
Yes there is special drinks, no I don’t know what they are. The cups saw I got tipsy at Tootsie. No song list. The merch was mostly shirts and a refillable bottle and something else I forget, but no window card yet.
Show started at 8:07 I left the theater at 10:50. They passed out Dorthey’s headshot and resume at the end tonight.
First, there’s an overture! Not a long one, but it’s there and the audience showed t

I saw this in DC and enjoyed it there. It needed work, mostly act 2, and interested in how it changed good or bad. It had decent bones in DC, Act 1 needed to be shorter and new songs for Kerry and Rob, Act 2 had story issues and the end was rushed. Whizzed mentioned the comparison to Wonderland and I laughed as “Welcome to Wonderland” was one of the best numbers if we were expecting a campy evening, but it wasn’t and had scars from revisionist and versions that had nothing to do with the show a

If I didn’t all ready have to tickets to other shows I would pay $33 to see Kong again. I didn’t hate it. Yes the songs and book are “ meh.” The 2 leads also were, but when Kong is out it was amazing. The movement, the expressions, I felt sad for him. The Lumpy character was all right and Fake Carl, and there where some great visuals like the boat sailing and the very first opening moments. $33 would be worth it to see it again.
