At the H2$ stage door this past Wednesday, John Larroquette said that January 1st would also be his last show. Is there any word on who will be his replacement? I looked around, but I couldn't find anything online about it.
Broderick will be on Broadway in NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT in the spring.
David Hyde Pierce was Biggley in both readings of the show opposite Radcliffe but was unavailable to do the full production. Too bad he's committed elsewhere yet again, unless they wait until he finishes his show at Manhattan Theater Club at the end of January. He'd be a blast.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
David Hyde Pierce may actually get me to see this show... I'm open to seeing anyone in this show except for Larroquette (I don't like his singing voice) and that annoying little wizard boy :P

I enjoyed the show with Dan and John, but have no plan on seeing it again after they leave...but if they got DHP in there, that could possibly get me back...
Lithgow's also working for Manhattan Theater Club next year- he's doing David Auburn's THE COLUMNIST on Broadway starting in April.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If someone finds Daniel Radcliffe annoying as Harry Potter and doesn't like Larroquette's singing voice, they have a right to express it. That's what this board is for.
He didn't say he shouldn't express it, his just expressed his opinion about Quizkid's pretty childish post.I think Quizkid just sounded like a jealous teenager.
I certainly didn't think Larroquette deserved the Tony Award (but POSSIBLY the nomination) but I found Radcliffe to be delightful in his role. I also thought he was simply outstanding in Equus - maybe that's why I can see past his Harry Potter days.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I'd LOVE to see Mr. Garber as Biggley--talk about great casting. That said, he's always been selective with his stage roles, so I'm not going to hold out much hope.
If Marc Kudisch were ten years older, he'd be perfect.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Oooh....I like Marc Kusish there -- I think he could pull off the age. Hmmmmm....

I'm just wondering how Kudisch would look next to an older-looking Finch, like Darren Criss. They actually have extremely similar features.

but Darren Criss will only be there for 3 weeks....they'll likely be thinking long term. Against the rumored Jonas Brother, it would be fine.

Good point, Drama, although my instincts tell me they'll probably look to star-cast the role.

As fine of an actor as DHP is, I just don't seem him in this role even if he did the readings. I absolutely loved Larroquette in the role, so I'll admit I have difficulty seeing it done by anyone else right now. Garber does feel like a good match.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
Given that they're both quite good in their roles, that's a stupid, elitis, attitude to have.
Are you surprised?
I think Quizkid just sounded like a jealous teenager.
Pretty much.
