25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee x2
Beauty and the Beast

Easy when you live in England and have only been to NYC three times. Thanks to my detailed records, I can also give you a list of every West End musical I've ever seen as well.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat x3
Sunday in the Park with George
Les Miserables x2
Evita x2
Billy Elliot
Wicked x4
Guys and Dolls
Avenue Q x3
Caroline, or Change
Porgy and Bess
Follies (it was a one-off concert staging, but in a West End theatre so totally counts)
Mary Poppins x2
The Phantom of the Opera
Cabaret
The Drowsy Chaperone x2
The Lord of the Rings x2
Fiddler on the Roof
Parade
Hairspray x2
Rent: Remixed
Gone with the Wind

La Cage aux Folles x3 (or x4 if we're including off-West End, which I'm not really)
Imagine This
Spring Awakening
Carousel
Sunset Boulevard
Chicago
Priscilla Queen of the Desert
Ernie Get Your Gun Too Close to the Sun

(Everything except the three Joseph trips has been since July 2006. If we're comparing e-penis size. re: Try to list every Broadway musical you've ever seen. ) I've also seen quite a bit at the Coliseum, and Sweeney Todd as a staged concert at the Royal Festival Hall. And a load of off-West End, an array of regional things, and a mess of tours (I've lost count of how many times I've seen Blood Brothers in my life, but I don't suppose I've ever seen it in London). Problem is, musicals tend to run for as long as they can rather than being limited runs right from the get-go, so I'll almost always choose to see a play over a musical 'cos I know the play is almost certainly going to go first. Plus, y'know, I REALLY REALLY like plays. :3 I really ought to get my ass in gear re: Oliver! and Sister Act...

e-penis size... lol

If this is a contest, than so far I'm winning. I've seen 173 Broadway musical productions (and still remembering more). This doesn't count multiple visits, plays, West End, Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, regional, tours, etc.

I'm actually surprised that my 173 is the top number so far. The way many of the people here write and treat each other, I have felt a second class citizen without the experience necessary to "count". Interesting to find out differently.

Lol, I did not mean to make this a competition- if it were I would obviously lose! I was just curious to see if I could figure out how many Broadway musicals I've seen and thought that other people may want to know their "number" too.

Actually, you didn't. It's clear that I'm insecure about my e-penis size, so I felt compelled to write the above post.

I'm glad you did start this post though. It has been a lot of fun trying to remember all these shows, and I'm still trying. I wish the database here had easy access to a list of all Broadway musicals (or I knew how to search them), as it would be really cool to go through the entire list and get a definitive list for myself.

The more I think about this, the more I'm remembering, so my list is just growing.

Thanks for this post.
