I was referring to the Stage Entertainment web site. The only reason I bring it up is that there has been a rumor that it will never happen in NYC.

I don't believe Stage Entertainment tours anything in the US so it would be another entity entirely for presenting Bat in NYC, DC and beyond.

While it is true that Stage Entertainment is based in and focused on Europe... they have had a producing presence in NYC and beyond. They were behind Sister Act, Dracula, Anastasia, among others.

No clue. I would have to dig out my toronto program and see if they're listed as producers in North America for it. Not outside the realm of possibility. Mind you, they also might just have licensed rights for Europe.

The three recent examples of these would be Sister Act (played in various countries in Europe all produced by Stage Entertainment) Anastasia (now playing in Spain.) And, Pretty Woman(starts performances in Germany in September.)

DC, Minneapolis and Dallas pre-NYC stops cancelled. Not that anyone is surprised.
But, NYC supposedly still is on.
First Stop! NYC!
I wish the show luck and good fortune. I had a blast watching it in London. I wanted to see it again in the US. Alack and alas.

Color me peeved. Special trip to DC for this one 7/16, then on to NYC 7/17. At least my Broadway shows are locked.

What's so wrong about speculation. None of us think Famebroadway2 has second sight.
Seems a pretty fair prognosis though.
The likelihood is chances are slim they will undertake the massive amount of work needed to cast, rehearse and handle the physical production and everything else, just for a 9 week run.

If the 9-weeks you are referring to are at City Center, that is already dead...at least no longer on their calendar.
