This was posted on the old covidthread that got deleted. I think he was one of the early cases?
"

I didn’t follow that thread diligently, so it might have been. Given that MOULIN ROUGE seems to have been a Hot Zone of COVID-19 infection, it’s probably not surprising.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

The evening national news on ABC just reported that Nick Cordeo's condition has worsened. His wife reported it. Prayers still up for him and his family.

Just give the world Love.

Still no word on Gavin Creel, right? Hasn't appeared anywhere?

Unless something changed, I believe Creel said he was never actually tested for COVID-19, but that he suspected he had it because several people in the WAITRESS London cast did. Sara Bareilles said she tested positive but had fully recovered a few weeks ago.

Zach Braff was on The View yesterday talking about Nick Cordero. I didn't realize he was so close to Nick and his family: they staying in his guest house until they looked for a place of their own, and says Nick caught Covid when he came back to NY to pack up their belongings for the move. Zach has been close to the situation, even cancelling his appearance on The View last week because Nick was having a bad day. It was great to hear them bring up Nick on the show.

It's been over two months since he's been in a coma. To think it could end like this, after so much fighting and so many people around the world rooting for them makes me weep.

Sadly, I suspected Nick wouldn't make it weeks ago.  Went through similar problems with my father. Docs fighting hard to keep body going against its will and it's so hard to let go. Sounds like lungs just can't come back. Awful for them. Nick, much too young and child loses Daddy before firm memories are intact. Best, Amanda.

I'm confused why everyone thinks this latest update is bad news.  All she said was that she had previously been told many times to say goodbye but he kept fighting through and is continuing to slowly get better.  Obviously this whole situation is extremely tragic and we have no idea yet how it's going to end, but unless I'm completely missing something, there was nothing in that post that implied things had gotten any worse?  In fact, it seemed to imply things were slowly but surely starting to get better.

When the doctors have done everything they can for more than two months, and you are now hoping for a miracle, it's a very dire situation.

Oh, it's absolutely a very dire situation--didn't at all mean to imply it wasn't.  Just that it's been a dire situation for a while now, but there was nothing in the post from yesterday that seemed to imply it had gotten any worse.  If anything, it was reiterating that he's at least starting to take some very small steps towards being alert again.

Those are incredibly risky and complicated when one is healthy. He is so weak he is unable to speak or sit up. So, possibly a year or two from now that could be on the table, but anytime soon? I don't think that's realistic, sadly.

The latest Variety cover story on Broadway and live concerts includes an interview with John Benjamin Hickey, who reveals he was diagnosed with COVID right as the lockdown began:
