There are some premium orchestra seats available for tomorrow night (Halloween!) if anyone is interested :)

Also some on Stubhub for Tuesday and Wednesday in the $220-250 range that might be more reasonable price points if you're willing to go that route.

I saw a matinee in seats A3 and A5. I'm short (5'2") and quickly grabbed a booster seat. It's true you miss the actor's feet, but it's not like they're tapping away (Sincerely Me is really the only dancing).

Yes, your head will be tilted up. I had no issues though. The only part that I didn't like about Orch left was that I had MLB's back during Words Fail and one other time. But then he was right in front of us at other times, so I was not too sad - lol.

And if it's a lottery win (like mine was), I'm happy to sit anywhere in the theatre: :)

THANK YOU to everyone posting on this board. I am so glad I found this thread!! My partner and I are flying in from San Francisco this weekend specifically to see Ben in his last month. He was incredible when I saw him perform in February. Although I am willing to give up a paycheck and pay the crazy Stub Hub prices, I would much rather try the 4 day trick on Telecharge and just keep checking for released tickets. Thank you thank you and I will keep my fingers crossed that we can get good seats for this Saturday night or Sunday's matinee!

Does anyone know if it's illegal to tape the bows? If I wasn't front row I wouldn't be too worried about it, but I don't wanna be caught illegally videotaping by Ben Platt lol

Not exactly sure about the legality of it, but some actors do consider it rude. I’d say make sure and show your appreciation of them by giving them applause and then maybe sneak a picture.

I've seen the cast comment on people who take out their phones immediately after the performance, so regardless of the legality it will probably be looked on upon as rude by at least some of the cast. I wouldn't reccomend it from the front row lol

Tickets are released 4 days in advance, so you have a while to wait. That said, seeing one of Ben's last performances is not going to be easy.

Yea, I get that, and it's certainly going to be a struggle Dear Evan Hansen - Cancellation Line/Lottery/Ticketing Questions but I'm trying as hard as I can! Dear Evan Hansen - Cancellation Line/Lottery/Ticketing Questions I was more so trying to ask what time of day are the tickets typically released for the four days?

Apologies to to all for my confusing question - but appreciate all the help. Pretty desperate to go. This will be my only opportunity to see the show in New York.

Your best bet is to read through this thread to see roughly the time range of when people were able to get tickets. I personally don't think the release is an automatic time release; but more like a person actually hitting a button to release the seats (hence why the times can vary.) Mind you I'm no expert though.

Also remember that the 4-day trick is not a guarantee, especially in the weekends. After all, these are unsold wheelchair & companion seats.

Good luck!

I have gotten 4-day seats as early as 11:15 am, and as late as 4:45pm. You can search Telecharge for orchestra wheelchair/transfer arm seats for your dates to see if there are any that aren't sold, to get an idea of availability. It looks like they are all sold for 11/16 and 11/18. However, there may also be mezzanine transfer arm seats that haven't been sold, and they won't show up on Telecharge. If there are any available, you still really have no idea what time they would be released, unfortunately. Also, sometimes premium seats become available at the last minute if people can't use their tickets, so just keep checking Telecharge. But it really is a gamble if you are set on seeing the show and those are your only available dates.

Thanks for the tips bwaylistener - I hadn't thought of looking to see if the accessible and transfer arm seats were already sold for those dates. I'm getting pretty disheartened at this point, it sounds like I may either be spending an entire paycheck to see it (which is not something that I can afford at the moment) or I won't be seeing it at all. Which is absolutely devastating. If only I had been notified sooner that I'd be going to NYC in November, I would've had better odds. Its been a really crappy year for my husband and I, and now I'm holding out for a miracle. I digress. But I appreciate the community on this board, and the help as I hope to find a ticket.

Really good premium seats were coming up last night for tonight (2nd row center and 4th row center). While they are more than the $199 seats, they are still less than or comparable to StubHub and you'll be sitting in great seats. Fingers crossed you'll be able to get something. I'm currently locked out of every web browser I have on my computer and phone so I can't even check for tickets. Dear Evan Hansen - Cancellation Line/Lottery/Ticketing Questions

TheGirlsNY - good to know there are still coming up day before and day of! Hoping that will be the case for me when it comes around to the 16th and 18th *fingers crossed*

There was a thread a little awhile back about telecharge locking people out - I search only on one device to prevent this - but forgot last week when travelling for work. I had to turn off my devices and turn back on and that helped, it looked like others turned wifi on and off, and in extreme cases I think it was CT2NYC that mentioned unplugged the modem over night to get a new IP address.

Hope that helps!

A VPN will solve your problems entirely. There are "free" ones where you can suffer ads, pay ones and your work might have one. Connect and get a new IP address instantly. Very helpful.

ETA: Practically vibrating I'm so excited. Thanks to the awesome people here I go in under 3 hours! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I'm curious.

Has anyone here won or know someone that has won this lottery?

How many tickets are they drawing names for and where are the seats?

I'm going to be in the city Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon. What time should I show up Thursday night to get in the cancellation line for Friday? Does anyone know when the box office opens on Fridays? I'm hoping I'll be able to get my ticket sometime in the morning/afternoon so I have a break to leave and take a nap before the show, but if I've just gotta camp out straight through for 20ish hours I'll do what I have to. This is part of broadway history!!!

Looks like Rachel was in the show tonight so maybe she isn’t going on the cruise? Or just not yet?

I doubt you will get your tickets, assuming you even do get any, before 7:50PM on Friday.

Dates for the cruise are 11/3-13. So I’d expect to maybe see her tomorrow night, and then not again until after next weekend.

I just got 2 seats (not together, but who cares!) for the Sunday matinee and I'm FREAKING OUT!  Thank you to CT2NYC and everyone on this board for all the support -- and for explaining the 4-day trick.  bwaylistener -- are you going to be at the Sunday matinee also?
