We’ll be in NYC Sunday - is dropping by the LC box office for this necessary or can I wait until home Monday at a computer?

I saw "The King and I" at LCT via TKTS in December 2015.  Previews had started in March 2015, and performances were scheduled through June, and then it extended.  I wasn't looking ahead of time to see when discounts were offered or when it started showing up on TKTS.  I think it just depends on whether sales are going well.

Is it convenient for you to drop by the box office?  Do you have plenty of dates open to see the show?  Are you particular about your seats?  For me, I only get to NY 1-2 times a year, so I try to get online as soon as possible for the shows that I really want to see.  I didn't buy my ticket until 2.5 hours after member sales opened, and I'm not sitting where I wanted to sit, but I have a seat.  No idea how fast this show may sell out at this point.

Wow am I severely underestimating the popularity of this show? I was planning to just wait it out and get a ticket whenever.

Anyone know the price points?

The price range posted on Telecharge is $87 - $177.

Do we know anything about the general sale other than it starts Sunday? What time does it open? Is it through telecharge or LINCOLN Center’s site?

It's probably one of the most well-known and well-loved Broadway musicals ever, and it hasn't been on Broadway in 20+ years. Maybe not quite as big as The Sound of Music, but bigger than South Pacific, The King and I, and Carousel. Until they (presumably) extend the run past July, these tix could be tight.

I'm not a member either and if you just go on to telecharge the tickets are already available! I got center of the front row of the loge, but I've never been to the Beaumont before so I don't really know how good of seats those are

^As long as you're in the center section of the theatre, your seats will be great, orchestra or loge.

Wowza-thanks, guys! Got a linctix for 5/26. Looks like they’re already unavailable for some performances. I first tried for the 5/23 matinee and it said linctix were unavailable. However, the same seat (and worse seats) I got for Saturday night on linctix was on sale for full price at the matinee on Wednesday. Anyone have similar prior experiences?

Got a ticket for the first preview. Pretty pricey, but it was premium, too, but excited. This will be my first LCT musical. From what I’ve seen of South Pacific, King and I, etc. I wanted to have an epic experience.

Hadden-Paton is OUT? Well, storm the box office - what's the point in even raising the curtain? /s

LincTix are available for my dates, but the seats are way far to the side - orchestra 509 and 109. Are these even worth it, being so far on the sides? The price is verging tempting.
