SOUL DOCTOR Tour? May 10

Any updates on the recent controversy with this production? Apparently they won’t be taking (at least some of) the cast to Israel, according to cast member Megan Ort’s Instagram.

Says she didn’t think this kind of manipulation was possible with a union job. Maybe Equity is spending too much time jockeying for new Tony categories and renaming robes?
I have high hopes for Tootsie, given its creative team. I can't wait to see it tryout in Chicago and find out the rest of the cast. I'm looking forward to NYC falling in love with Samantha Barks and hope Pretty Woman finds success after some tweaks (lots of potential there). Also intrigued by the prospect of Hadestown, though I don't know much about it.
Also excited to have Kelli O'Hara back on Broadway, and crossing m

Why would we ever want to see it repurposed as a Broadway house?"
Feel better?

Tony Awards 2018 Winner Predictions Thread May 2

Is Hadden-Paton the new favorite for Actor? I thought it was still Henry. Super excited to see them both next month!
Hamilton casting is an enigma to me. Just on social media, it seems like they have at least 2 principals out every performance. Casting people we've never heard of (which, of course, could always be delightful). When I saw the B'way company in Dec. 2016, it felt like everyone but Lawson and Munoz was phoning their performances in.
Tony Award nominations are announced TOMORROW! We all have our predicted locks, strong possibilities, and favorites that don't fit either category. We've had a thread like this in past years, so I thought we could have some fun again.
So, if you could guarantee ONE nomination/set of related nominations tomorrow and be promised NOTHING else in regard to nominations, what would it be?
I'll start: guarantee would be for Caissie Levy and Patti Murin to both g
I haven't seen Hamilton in Chicago, but it is usually not a sell-out months in advance like the NY production. I just looked on Ticketmaster at a random date in June when Cher will be running concurrently, and there are several regular (i.e., non-resale) tickets available. They're still priced outrageously ($300-400; $147 for partial view), but they're there. I've even seen a significant number of orchestra seats priced down to non-premium prices, sometimes as low as $60-

Any insight on if Rowling, Tiffany, and Thorne will all be nominated as “story conceivers” for HP, or will it only be Thorne?
I am morbidly obese and always try to book an aisle when possible. I couldn't get an aisle for the performances of Harry Potter and My Fair Lady I'm attending on my trip next month, so I imagine I will have to make do, pray my seat mates are super skinny, or request a standalone chair in the back of the house, which I've done before.
But I will say that the situation is uncomfortable for us large folks, too. It's uncomfortable having the seat squeeze into you and m
Thanks, all. Kinda what I was thinking. :) Row K seems the perfect distance, and the added legroom is amazing. I do usually go for an aisle, as I'm a large gentleman, but hopefully the extra leg room will make that issue more bearable! Thanks again!
Orchestra Right B12 is available for Sunday, May 27. $299 per part. Debating picking them up and returning my K12 seat, but I think I'll stay because of K's extra legroom and being slightly further back. Thoughts?

Direction wins are often surprising (Taichman for Indecent comes to mind), but I thought last year's win for CFA, while certainly deserved, was more as a result of a vot
