I’ve seen F. Murray Abraham, Laura Dreyfuss, and Kate Baldwin walking around the theater district when they’ve been in shows, so that’s not too surprising.
Skylar Astin and Anna Camp (RIP that marriage) sat behind me at Dear Evan Hansen. I whispered to Astin that I was fans of each of them but didn’t want to cause a scene. He whispered, “Thank you.”

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS returning Off-Broadway this Fall? Jul 22

Ditto on the affordable tickets, dramamama. I am wondering if they’ll bring in another name for the two weeks Groff is gone. Probably a pipe dream since it’s such a short run.
Couldn't resist this. Never seen Little Shop in any iteration. Groff is out when I'm in town (he's out 11/5-11/17, for anyone interested), but I'm excited for Borle and Blanchard! $69 side orchestra is a great deal!
I’m on mobile so I can’t upload the photo, but the banner on their Twitter account has their names on opposite horizontal sides, same height and size, font as large as the title.

I’m not really reading that Facebook banner as Sutton being under the title but just a symmetrical choice. For DHP and Dolly, the billing was “Also Starring DHP,” and we don’t see that here. The profile icon on Facebook says “Hugh/Sutton,” so that suggests coequal billing. Certainly hope that’s the case, anyway!
Hello Dolly Tour 2.0 cast? Jul 14

Analisa Leaming (Irene on the tour) said in an Instagram live a few weeks ago that she had signed on for year two.

Yikes. That bad, huh? I may kick myself (or knee myself as I curl up...heh), but I travel from out of town so I like to have most of my tix purchased in advance so I know I’m seeing what I want to. And the buzz, storyline, and people involved in this have me intrigued! I’ll probably be happy the show is only 90 minutes!

Mary-Lousie Parker to lead THE SOUND INSIDE this fall Jun 28

I realized I might have been taking an accessible seat away from someone who really needs the space more than I, since I can survive in a standard aisle seat, uncomfortable as it may be for me and my neighbor. So I had Telecharge cancel the one I bought and then went back and purchased a standard aisle LincTix (in the last row, no less). Heck, I may even lose a few pounds before November. Super disappointed these are the LincTix, especially when they’re often first row side orchestra at the Beau

I was surprised to see that there weren’t any rear orchestra options for LincTix. I’m an overweight person and have actually had to be reseated before, so I know the infamous rear mezz at Studio 54 will be a problem. The LCT house manager at the Beaumont once told me I should purchase a transfer arm seat in future, so I did that for Studio 54 here. I imagine better seats will be available via rush/lottery, as I don’t see this being a *super* hot ticket.

The Moulin Rouge seats through Nov 24 (7500/8000 points plus $84) are in center orchestra row R. $199 face value. Not a bad deal.
Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 5/26/19 May 29

Would someone be willing to explain how Potter is not making its full gross potential? Is it because they “discount” their premium tickets as the show gets closer?

Show Boat would be GLORIOUS, but the woke police would strip it to a shadow of its former self. I vaguely remember Andre Bishop mentioning in an interview that he’d love to do it but, in so many words, is wary of touching it.
It’s really awful and one-sided. It devolves into her life and her strained relationship with her kids. I feel for her in the sense that she’s trying to keep up a lifestyle that she simply can’t afford after making bad decisions. Nevertheless, she comes across as extremely entitled and abrasive, and the film doesn’t account for that at all. I

It really depends on the show. I went to New York in late May last year, and spring shows that had them included Frozen, Carousel (hot off the presses, they said), My Fair Lady, and Cursed Child. Mean Girls opened around the same time and, as mentioned above, didn’t have theirs until mid-fall.
