How long will it take for my points to be reflected? I think I should have over 1,000 given that I bought two tickets through AR, but I only have 912. What's up with that?"

Points appear following the performance date, so the points will be added to your account a few days after you see the show you bought tickets for.

Also, if you did not enter your Audience Rewards number upon checkout on Ticketmaster/Telecharge(for participating shows), there is a way to request missing show points for retro credit on the “My Activity” page.

Word to the wise for EVERYONE who uses AR: If you purchase a ticket for a participating show at a box office that operates on Ticketmaster (Jujamcyn, Nederlander, Lyric, among others) you willnotbe able to request the show points from those in-person purchases. I learned that the hard way.

Ahhh. This is super helpful! Thank you so much!

I found it to be on case by case basis. The Tina tickets I purchased from the box office were not accepted by the AR, and that's when I found out for the first time about the eligible online and phone bookings only. However, I bought JLP, Diana and Virginia Woolf tix from box offices too and they are all got accepted and are listed as "pending", same status as my tix purchased from Ticketmaster and Telecharge.

Yep. If you read my post, you’ll notice I say in-person ticket purchases from box offices who operate on Ticketmaster will not be accepted by AR, while online Ticketmaster purchases for participating shows will be accepted. TINA is at the Lunt-Fontanne who operates on Ticketmaster, so if you buy a ticket in-person at the box office you will not be eligible to receive points. JLP, Diana and Virginia Woolf are all at theaters who operate on Telecharge, therefore both in-person and online purchases (again, for participating shows) will be redeemable for points, you’ll just have to manually report the in-person purchases with your order #/receipt.

I hope this helps!

  • Belasco Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: Girl From the North Country
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre - New York, NY - Upcoming Show: Company
  • Booth Theatre - New York, NY - Upcoming Show: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
  • Broadhurst Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: Jagged Little Pill
  • Broadway Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: West Side Story
  • Cort Theatre - New York, NY - Upcoming Show: The Minutes
  • Ethel Barrymore Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: The Inheritance
  • Gerald Schoenfeld - New York, NY - Current Show: Come From Away
  • Imperial Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: Ain't Too Proud
  • John Golden Theatre - New York, NY - Upcoming Show: Hangmen
  • Longacre Theatre - New York, NY - Upcoming Show: Diana
  • Lyceum Theatre - New York, NY - Upcoming Show: Sing Street
  • Majestic Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: The Phantom of the Opera
  • Music Box Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: Dear Evan Hansen
  • Shubert Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: To Kill a Mockingbird
  • Winter Garden Theatre - New York, NY - Current Show: Beetlejuice

ALSO! I have also found that you can give your AR number at Circle in the Square - Upcoming Show: American Buffalo.

Hope that someone finds this helpful!

Thank you for this info! I assumed you also meant Telecharge. It's clear now.

I took a different approach with my points and redeemed some for a $50 gift card at Sardi's. It was easy and arrived in my mailbox about a week after I requested it. Not even any postage charges!

I'm very particular about seating (aisle only), so I was kind of out of luck redeeming for tickets. This was a good alternative.

I requested Audience Rewards points for my TKTS ticket to The Minutes using the online form, knowing it probably wouldn’t work (I had asked at the TKTS window if he could attach my AR number to the purchase and he said “no”).

Anyway, good news! I woke up this morning to discover I earned 250 points for The Minutes. Very happy, but also kicking myself for all those TKTS tix I bought before knowing about AR, and the TKTS tickets I bought after knowing about AR and didn’t bother requesting AR points because I didn’t think they’d be eligible. Not sure if it works every time, but I’ll definitely be trying in the future.

That's great news! I didn't know TKTS was eligible as well but thank you for reporting this to us!

I just looked at Audience rewards and for those who can afford full-priced tickets, there are some good extra bonus points right now on Audience Rewards.

Thanks for the info, Miles2Go2! But if you get your ticket from TKTS, you get an actual printed ticket, correct? From my experience, Audience Rewards only allows you to enter order numbers to request Missing Points. Where do you find the order number on a printed ticket?

Very good news about being able to get points for TKTS tickets. Anyone know if you can also get points for TDF orders?

I've tried asking about TDF a couple times and they've all said no, though I've never tried doing it before the performance (which I know they prefer). But rush and lottery should work.

If anyone got MJ tickets this morning, will you please report on the seat assignments? Thanks!

How many tickets were avail for each performance of MJ? 2?! They were gone in less than an hour.

Only one performance was available, limit 2 tickets per person.

Maybe it was only 2 per performance. I didn't see what was available until around 11:00 a.m. I forgot, the VIP presales usually have only 2 seats available. It was the enitre month of July, though, not just 1 performance. AR released Mrs. Doubtfire for April this morning, as well, and that was 4 per performance

Hi Caye2 - you can find the order number on the TKTS receipt. They should be providing you one to confirm your payment, otherwise ask for it. Order numbers do not appear on physical tickets.

At TKTS, you get a printed ticket and a receipt with order number (printed on another ticket).

Is there a way to be notified by the AR when tickets for new shows become available to redeem, other than checking the website ten times a day? Is there a system to the updates, maybe?

Gibson, there really is not a way to be notified. It's a pretty antiquated website, and checking daily is just something you have to do to find anything out.

JLP is up for several dates! $54 plus 1,000 points for "VIP". Just snagged 2 for a performance in April (Finally!).

So does the VIP presale happening today for MJ mean that more tickets will be put on “general sale” to non-VIP members sometime soon?

That's usually how it goes. I'm not exactly sure how many days they wait, though.
