Thanks, got tickets for Monday earlier. Looks like all the tickets went fast since it’s no longer listed.

Saw this tonight and enjoyed it more than I was expecting. Saw it through TDF (seats were Center mezz on the aisle) and felt it was definitely worth it for that price but wouldn’t pay normal prices.
All the big songs in the show were very well performed and I was especially impressed with Bradley Dean and Danielle Steers. Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad, Bar Out of Hell, I’d Do Anything For Love, Paradise By the Dashboard Light, and It’s All Coming Back to Me Now were great and compared well
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS returning Off-Broadway this Fall? Jul 23

Got tickets for the end of September. Very excited for this, and glad it’s being done in such a small house as opposed to getting a big budget revival that would probably end up not working as well.

Hmm, wonder if that’s from the recent workshop not going well. But I’d rather they take more time to make it right before presenting it at all and the move to April/May actually makes it easier for me to go see this in Chicago, although it seems pretty obvious this will end up on Broadway unless it’s a complete debacle.

They just announced Todrick Hall/Miranda Sings coming in until September 15th a few days ago, I feel like they wouldn’t post a closing notice until they at least had a better sense of if/how that affected the advance.
And I could be wrong about this but I feel like if it was going to close Sara might come back and do a final couple weeks which would put the closing into October, so they probably wouldn’t announce it this early.

Town Hall does put up events on TDF sometimes, the Broadway By the Year show is up right now. It's always a crapshoot as to whether something pops up or not, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it if advanced sales are bad.
Merrily We Roll Along, which wasn’t bad but still wasn’t good enough to be the one great interpretation of the show I’m always hoping to see.

Does anyone know why Chicago never pops up on TDF? As a long running show that isn’t playing at anywhere close to its maximum gross I’d think it would be up there all the time but I’ve never seen it.
I just had an urge to see it again after watching Fosse/Verdon and was curious.
Thoughts on Back to the Future The Musical? May 28

I have hopes this could work very well. I like the team involved with it and it does seem like something that could adapt fairly easily to the stage if done right.
Starting in the UK also seems like the right move as Broadway is a bit saturated with movie adaptations right now but that may lessen in a year or two (I’d be amazed to see Pretty Woman, King Kong, and Beetlejuice still running then and whether Tootsie will have legs is still up in the air so there should be space depending

Love Vanessa and am definitely interested in seeing the show again with her as Carole. I doubt she’s a big enough name to make a huge difference in how the show’s doing though.
FRANKIE AND JOHNNY Previews May 7

Went to last night’s preview and loved it. Both actors are doing great work, and considering this was only the 2nd preview, it’ll probably get better from here. They kept the energy of the show going and it never dragged (maybe a little in the 2nd act but barely) which is always difficult in a two-hander. Their chemistry was very believable and the shifts between the serious and comedic moments were deftly handled.
I have to say though, it was one of the worst audiences I’ve been in lat

Having never sat in the mezzanine of the Broadhurst (only the orchestra) are the seats any good? Is it worth booking on TDF or waiting to try grab a rush ticket on the day?"
