I apologize.  I misread your post and thought you said orchestra.

Saw the show again yesterday and had to marvel at how much better it is since the first preview. The cast continues to grow in their parts, adding comic bits and human touches that make this light years better than anything else I've seen in years. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!

How did your church group enjoy it, Dollypop?

THEY were overwhelmed. They aren't regular theater-goers and weren't familiar with the show. It knocked their socks off!

Looking to buy tickets tomorrow to see Bernadette/Victor when they assume the roles. Would you all recommend the front center mezz, or the orchestra for the show? When we saw Bette we did second row mezz right and we loved the seats - just not sure if there's a marked difference being in the orchestra, or if we should stick with what we "know".

Also, about how close would you say is "too close" row wise in the orchestra? Even though we've seen it before, we don't want to miss any of the action (we love this show too much)!

For me, sitting in the front row center mezzanine can't be beat, for a few reasons. First, no heads in the way (I'm short). Second, because of the passerelle, you can see just a handful of the orchestra's audience members. Unless you're leaning forward, only the first couple of rows on the sides are visible. This produces the surreal effect of the show being performed just for you. I thought that was incredibly cool. Third, it gives you a perfect view of the curtain call. When I sat downstairs, I was in row R, so I can't really comment on how close is too close, but I've heard that row H center offers prime viewing in the orchestra.

Thank you - I was honestly leaning towards sticking with the front mezz as the view was wonderful (it helps that the theater itself isn't cavernous - feels much more intimate there than others we've been to), and we do have a couple shorter people with us who like the added benefit of not having to crane their necks, lol. Appreciate it!

New to the Board. Has anyone gone to the Box Office for SRO  lately with Bette?  I will be in NYC next week and was wondering if I had a shot for SRO.  Any thoughts on buying off of Seat Geek or Stub Hub? Thanks!

Dottie, I saw Hayley last night and thought she was great.  The laugh was pretty perfect and her glasses and nerdiness were endearing.  During the dance break that follows "Dancing," she gets lifted by a male cast member and she dances with a few others.  This was the only time where I felt she wasn't as effective because the chubbiness that they've added to that character makes those moments special.  You feel more inclined to believe she hasn't had a chance (I'm not saying this is a correct way of thinking) to dance with these gentlemen before.  Other than that, she was a really wonderful Minnie Fay.

We all know that Bette does not sign, rather graciously greets the crowd at the stage door.  I came across these three listings on Ebay...does look like her quick signature, what do you think? Mayeb signed within the theatre? Wondering if the 8x10 will be available at Flea Market.

She's Jewish, yes, but, if it were a planned absence,  I'm assuming that Donna would have been scheduled from the beginning.
