Welcome the Sanders Family Singers and the talented performers who portrayed them in the sell-out 2015 show for a return engagement at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church! Smoke on the Mountain tells the story of a Saturday Night Gospel Sing at a country church in North Carolina's Smoky Mountains in 1938. The show features two dozen rousing bluegrass songs played and sung by the Sanders Family, a traveling group making its return to performing after a five-year hiatus. Smoke on the Mountain is Southern Bluegrass Gospel Music and Good Old-Fashioned Family Comedy!!! Be sure to wear comfortable toe-tapping shoes and bring tissues for the tender moments. This is something you don't want to miss! Show times are 7:30 PM January 29-30 and February 5-6 and 2:30 PM January 31 and February 7. Ticket prices are $14 for general admission with a $2 discount for seniors, students, and military personnel. Groups of 10 or more can get tickets for $10 each by calling 256.547.7469.
