Ballet Theatre of Maryland premieres the iconic Don Quixote on April 28th and 29th at Maryland Hall for the Arts. Staged by Artistic Director Nicole Kelsch after the traditional Petipa choreography, the ballet tells the story of the brave and befuddled Don Quixote, who believes himself to be a heroic knight.
Maryland Ensemble Theatre's 24th Mainstage season continues to bring thought-provoking and relevant theatre to Downtown Frederick with Detroit '67 by Dominique Morriseau. MET Company Member Ray Hatch directs MET's first production of 2022. Running February 11 through March 6, audiences are sure to love this entertaining, educational play that illuminates a lesser-known period from our nation's history.
Ballet Theatre of Maryland marks its return to Maryland Hall with the celebrated Romantic ballet Giselle, October 22-24. After 19 months of outdoor and virtual performances, Giselle is the company's first production in a traditional theater setting with a live, in-person audience.
Due to the health crisis, MET will not be holding in-person FUNCamp this summer. However, FUNCamp offerings have been re-imagined for a digital platform.
