Everyman Theatre to Host 'Rhythm and Blues Ball' in January 2015

Everyman Theatre has announced that its annual Winter Gala will take the form of a 'Rhythm and Blues Ball' this year. The annual fundraiser will take place at The Lord Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, January 10th from 6PM to midnight. All proceeds from the Ball benefit Everyman Theatre's productions and education programs.
TDPS Production 'COLLIDESCOPE' Expands National Discussion on Race in America, Now thru 11/14

In response to the seemingly perpetual killings of young black men in America, internationally acclaimed auteur Ping Chong and noted director and dramaturg Talvin Wilks created Collidescope: Adventures in Pre- and Post-Racial America in collaboration with UMD School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies' graduate and undergraduate designers and performers. The show runs tonight, November 7-14 in the Kogod Theatre at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and is a world premiere performance. Conversations with the cast, designers and special panelists follow performances held November 8, 11 and 13, respectively.

A Year With Frog and Toad magically brings the treasured characters created by Arnold Lobel in the 'Frog and Toad' book series to life. Best friends Frog and Toad hop through four seasons filled with fun while rejoicing in their differences and reveling in their friendship. Everyman Theatre has announced the new Vivienne Shub Memorial Fund for Education and Access to Theatre. The Fund was established in memory of Vivienne Shub, a member of Everyman Theatre's Resident Company who passed away in September at the age of 95. The Fund was announced at Everyman's Memorial for the legendary actress on Monday, September 20th.

The classic comedy with a MET twist will be directed by Tim Seltzer and will run every Thursday through Sunday at Maryland Ensemble Theatre from today, October 24 through November 16.
