Sutton Foster to Step in for Mandy Patinkin at BSO Concerts in 2016

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra announced today that Broadway starlet Sutton Foster will make her BSO debut in concerts February 18, 2016 at The Music Center at Strathmore and February 19-21, 2016 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. She replaces Mandy Patinkin, who has regrettably withdrawn from his previously scheduled performances of Mandy Patinkin: In Concert, due to a scheduling conflict.

Ms. Foster will be performing acclaimed Broadway hits with the BSO SuperPops, led by Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly.

As an award-winning actor, singer and dancer with 11 Broadway shows under her belt, Sutton Foster has continuously lit up the stage with her incredible talent. Originating the roles in Broadway productions of Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek the Musical and her Tony Award winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie, this theatrical star has captured the hearts of audiences all over the globe. In addition to her work on Broadway, Foster currently stars in TV Land's critically-acclaimed series Younger and tours extensively both in the United States and internationally. She was previously seen on television in hit shows such as Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains.
