Mark Carnochan - Page 2

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Mark Carnochan has been surrounded by arts and culture his entire life thanks to the likes of the Edinburgh Fringe and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. With a growing love for criticism, Mark wrote for numerous websites covering subjects such as cinema, music and theatre before finally joining BroadwayWorld in 2022 and never looking back. Mark recently graduated with his honours degree in Film & Media from Queen Margaret University. When he’s not dealing with the daily mispronunciations of his surname, acting on stage or watching movies, Mark is writing reviews. You can find him on twitter @MarkJurassic.

The Oxford Revue, one of the most prestigious and well known student comedy groups in the UK, arguably rivaled only by The Cambridge Footlights when it comes to the alumni that has came from their hallowed halls, with the likes of Rowan Atkinson, Stewart Lee, Maggie Smith, Armando Iannucci and members of Monty Python being past members of the troupe. With such big boots to fill, one would expect an hour of tightly packed sketch comedy and laughs a-plenty. Unfortunately, audiences don't recieve much of either.
