Born and raised in Edinburgh, Mark Carnochan has been surrounded by arts and culture his entire life thanks to the likes of the Edinburgh Fringe and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. With a growing love for criticism, Mark wrote for numerous websites covering subjects such as cinema, music and theatre before finally joining BroadwayWorld in 2022 and never looking back. Mark recently graduated with his honours degree in Film & Media from Queen Margaret University. When he’s not dealing with the daily mispronunciations of his surname, acting on stage or watching movies, Mark is writing reviews. You can find him on twitter @MarkJurassic.

- EDINBURGH 2023: Review: KIERAN HODGSON: BIG IN SCOTLAND, Pleasance Courtyard - Kieran Hodgson is one of the greatest to every bring a show to the Edinburgh Festival and Big in Scotland might well be the best proof of this.
- EDINBURGH 2023: Review: ANIA MAGLIANO: I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'VE DONE THIS, Pleasance Courtyard - Ania Magliano's show about a botched haircut seems silly on the surface but proves itself to be a beautiful show about trauma and healing. Not a day goes by where I don't think about this show.
- EDINBURGH 2023: Review: SOPHIE SUCKS FACE at Underbelly, Bristo Square - Sophie Sucks Face is an excellent show that had me laughing one minute and crying the next. Sophie Zucker's ability to control a crowd must be seen to be believed.
- Edinburgh 2022: Review: GABBI BOLT: I HOPE MY KEYBOARD DOESN'T BREAK, House Of Oz - The Edinburgh Fringe offers a home to new, up-and-coming comedians that you simply can't see anywhere else in the world. One of the best things about the month of August in Scotland's capital city is the chance to see some of the greatest stand-ups in the world before they truly make it big. Time will tell with Gabbi Bolt but this show seems to have her destined for greatness.
- Edinburgh 2022: Review: THE DEAD DUCKS, Just The Tonic At The Caves - A staple of the Edinburgh Fringe, this is one of the funniest hours The Dead Ducks have ever put together.
