YES, one of the most innovative of all prog-rock bands, and true legends of the genre, have announced a 8-date UK tour for May and June of 2020. The Album Series 2020 Tour will feature their 1974 Relayer album in its entirety together with a selection of other classic YES favourites. An extensive European tour will be announced soon.

GetTV will honor the late entertainer-activist Diahann Carroll, who died October 4, by airing 'The Flip Wilson Special,' featuring guest stars Carroll, along with comedian Freddie Prinze and singer-composer Paul Williams, on Sunday, October 13 at 10PM ET. 

National Geographic announced today that Emmy- and Academy Award-winning actress Allison Janney will narrate its upcoming documentary special EXPEDITION AMELIA, which premieres Sunday, Oct. 20, at 8/7c. The special follows National Geographic Explorer-at-Large Dr. Robert Ballard, best known for his 1985 discovery of the Titanic shipwreck, on an ambitious expedition to solve the mystery of the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. Throughout the special, Janney guides viewers through the story of the team's extensive search for evidence as well as Earhart's legendary life and legacy.

Opening weekend of the Ojai Film Festival features a throwback tribute to the days of big studios and contract players. Pat Boone plans to attend the screening of his 1962 movie State Fair on Saturday November 2, at 7 pm, followed by a reception in his honor at 9 pm.  The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Correspondent and stand-up comic, Michael Kosta is set to commence production on his first one-hour stand-up special in his home state of Michigan at Detroit's Gem Theatre on Friday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET. The untitled one-hour special is scheduled to premiere in summer 2020 on Comedy Central.

SHOWTIME has announced that Emmy and Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo (Selma) will play the title role in the drama series THE PRESIDENT IS MISSING. The network has ordered a pilot, which is currently in pre-production and scheduled to shoot in 2020. Academy Award® winner Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), Anthony Peckham (Invictus), Heather McQuarrie and Oyelowo will executive produce the series. Peckham is writing the adaptation. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine and Jana Winograde, Presidents of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.

The Philip K. Dick European Science Fiction Film Festival has unveiled the full lineup for its sixth annual event celebrating the life and career of novelist Philip K. Dick. With an emphasis on technological advancements and existence of alternative worlds and cultures, the festival will gather in Lille, France from October 25-26, 2019 and in Cologne, Germany from October 31-November 1, 2019.
