NBC has crowned comedians Franqi French and Rene Vaca as the winners of its 16th annual StandUp NBC competition, the network's annual nationwide search for comedians of diverse backgrounds.  Variety announced earlier today the “Too Much to Say Tour,” Kalie Shorr's first headlining tour. After being named to countless 2019 album of the year lists, including The New York Times, Variety and NPR, and performing for over a hundred thousand at Nashville's New Year's Eve celebration, Shorr plans to bring Open Book to fans across the country. The Greatest of All Time,” ABC ranked No. 1 on Thursday in both Total Viewers (10.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.7/9), dominating its nearest competitors by 3.5 million viewers (6.8 million for CBS) and by 55% among Adults 18-49 (1.1/6 for Fox). “JEOPARDY! The Greatest of All Time” stood as the No. 1 program of the night in Total Viewers (17.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.5/13), giving ABC its fourth consecutive win this week in the latter Nielsen measure.

 Comedy Central today announced an overall deal with Daniel Tosh that includes a four-season, 80-episode extension for Tosh.0, as well as a first-look deal for new scripted and unscripted development to potentially feature Tosh on camera, as well as vehicles for other talent. The #1 brand in comedy and Tosh are currently in discussions for an unscripted series in which Tosh would host and executive produce and a script deal for which he would serve as an executive producer. The four-season extension of Tosh.0 will take the long-running franchise through its 16th season. In addition, Comedy Central will launch a dedicated Tosh.0 channel on YouTube in early 2020 and today launched a Tosh.0 channel on Pluto TV, the leading free streaming television service in the U.S.
