Problem: Traditional 'rock' groups try to generate excitement at live shows with loud guitars -- but, after 70 years dominating popular music, the guitar era is over and its graying progenitors, fussing about with their boutique amplifiers and eensie pedals, are in aesthetic crisis. Meanwhile, hip-hop production -- disruptive, innovative, incredibly exciting -- has already defined the 21st century, but the genre's reliance on backing tracks means live shows sometimes lack energy and spontaneity. 

It would be easy to assume when listening to Will Callan's strident new single 'Out Of Your Life', that he's the product of a slick and heavily funded major label pop factory. But don't be fooled by the razor sharp production, accomplished and mature songwriting, and Will's flawless vocals. This is the work of a 16 year-old, writing and recording in his bedroom studio in Cheshire, simultaneously studying for his GCSEs.

The 2020 Awards will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, returning to the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The announcement was made today by President Nelson Coates ADG and Awards Producer Scott Moses ADG.  

Fresh off her Grand Ole Opry debut in November, country/pop singer-songwriter Caroline Jones today announces her return to the iconic stage on Saturday, January 25th where she will perform new single “All of the Boys,” which was co-written with mentor Zac Brown.
