His fans will love it because they are fans and they love him, but the rest of the world, especially Judy Garland fans, will just be uninterested in this mostly uninteresting performance.

This album, more than any we have heard in a long time, sounds (and most importantly) feels like we’re sitting down in a club, hearing a live performer doing her cabaret set.

Bobby really liked this one for more than just its gayness. It comes across as a fun, funny musical theatre hopeful and we do hope its hopes are realized, as we would totally buy that ticket.

The score of SIREN yielded much beauty, and if this is early days Bobby deems them well on the way to something truly magical...

The problem this music release has, which most likely reflects a problem the show (that we didn’t see) had, is - not enough singing from Mrs. Doubtfire herself.

HAND IN HAND is a sweet way for this musical partnership to round out what has been a whirlwind ride for their household.

This is a declaration of artistic intent and freedom breaking the bonds of the biz, the audience, and everyone to be the music-maker she was born to be.

Jones could jettison the songs and still have a solid 30 minutes of comedy and vice/versa. If he just stood there and sang, well that would make a pretty awesome evening too.

Her rendition of the multi-voiced OPENING DOORS sung solo, with the lady taking on all the parts, was a number that had this writer leaning forward with breathless anticipation and awe.
