For those looking for sounds of the new age that bring positive energy to thoughts, prayers, meditations, tea at your window in a time of acute disorder, this music is more than welcome

The Busch is top drawer, and as an entertainer/storyteller, this Divine Sister is a Times Square Angel. In any case, CHARLES BUSCH: MY FOOLISH HEART is worth the time and money one spends on enjoying it

This show has kicked off with a bang in Bobby’s books and we can’t recommend it highly enough to everyone GREASE fan or newbie alike

This is all by way of saying ... that Joshua Blue is one of these rare OPERA birds that has made a success of this bold move for himself.

In all my sweets, we stand by our review of Katie Boeck’s OVER AGAIN (which you have all read… right?) and haunting is precisely the right descriptor for the entirety of CALICO.

Daurio & Paul have delivered some of the finest parody comedy television has seen since THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW and all those hilarious dream sequences from THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.

FAR FAR AWAY is another star in the Bobby firmament that begs to be heard with intention - to be sat with and absorbed.

What did our critic think of RENE FLEMING GREATEST MOMENTS AT THE MET at A?

The score with just the few touches of dialogue included makes it very clear what is happening from start to finish and it delivers the show to the imagination so wonderfully.

In the end, through her sense of drama and the music of Holleander, Spoliansky, Brecht, and yes, even Seger, Ute Lember built a smokey, dimly lit, and incredibly exciting Kabarett room under 54th Street

The music is filled with driving rhythms that cry out for mixing on the nightlife dance floor. A disco anthem for today that is equal parts mainstream pop, soul/R&B blended together.

And so, since we enjoyed REGRETTING ALMOST EVERYTHING, we think you will too.

And so my lambkins, PARADE the 2023 Revival Cast Recording is a first-rate record of this latest piece of Broadway history and will make a fine addition to your collections

In the final analysis, while it's true that we find it all a little too twee, Bobby's prediction is that the audience it finds will love it enough to get it to a second season...
