The Atlanta premiere of MARY POPPINS opens tonight, Friday, April 30 at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre for a limited engagement of 3 weeks through Sunday, May 16. MARY POPPINS plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Matinees will play at 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Great seats are still available for weekday performances.

On May 8th through May 23rd, Newnan Community Theatre Company will present the multiple Tony and Academy Award winning musical 'Cabaret.' 'Cabaret' is a musical with a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and music by John Kander. The 1966 Broadway hit production and spawned the 1972 film, as well as two subsequent Broadway productions in 1987 and 1998.

Playing this role, a role he originated in London and then Broadway, is Gavin Lee, who sat down to share with me his take on his experience with Mary Poppins and the satisfaction of playing such an amazing role.

Broadway Across America - Atlanta Presents Kids Night On Broadway 5/2

The world's most famous nanny is coming to Atlanta! And in honor of the occasion, Broadway Across America - Atlanta is throwing a fun-filled family event at The Fox Theatre on Sunday, May 2. Hosted by Radio Disney AM 590 Atlanta, the Kids Night on Broadway celebration will take place in the Egyptian Ballroom from 5-6 p.m. There will be cookie decorating, face painting, arts and crafts, a prize wheel and ice cream sundaes during the FREE event. Plus, the four actors who alternate the roles of Jane and Michael Banks in Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's 'Mary Poppins' will stop by to sign autographs. To sweeten the deal, there will also be a special BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE ticket deal for the 6:30 p.m. performance of 'Mary Poppins' that evening.
