For the fourth consecutive season, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will collaborate with Turner Classic Movies® to bring the soundtrack of a classic film to life at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park. Staff Conductor Jere Flint will lead the Orchestra in the score from Casablanca, which will be shown on big screens, on Friday, July 15, 2011, at 8:30 p.m. at the Amphitheatre.

Atlanta's Broadway dreams will come true for the 6th consecutive summer when The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) presents their acclaimed Summer Performing Arts Intensive Monday, June 13 through Sunday, June 19, 2011 at The Woodruff Arts Center (1280 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA). Director Matt Lenz (Catch Me if You Can) and a roster of Broadway veterans will work with aspiring young performers from the Atlanta area throughout the week in preparation for 'True Colors,' a one of a kind Broadway concert open to the public. Performances will take place at the Hertz Stage Saturday, June 18th at 2 pm and 7 pm and Sunday, June 19th at 1 pm and 5 pm. Tickets are $30 - $50 and are now on sale at www.woodruffcenter.org, at the Woodruff Center Box Office, or by calling 404.733.5000 .

For those who think they know the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, Center for Puppetry Arts invites audiences to experience a completely new version. Curious visitors are invited to join David Stephens and All Hands Productions for a different look at the tale of Jack and his encounters with some magic beans, a beanstalk, a giant and some favorite fairytale characters such as Rumpelstiltskin and Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. This one man production was created and is performed by Atlanta?based puppeteer David Stephens.
