Actor's Express presents "An Evening with Rex Reed," a one night-only performance with the legendary author and critic on January 23.

According to Artistic Director Freddie Ashley, "It is a massive thrill to have someone of Mr. Reed's renown joining us at Actor's Express. I can't wait to hear his stories and anecdotes about the fabulous people he knows and the fabulous life he has led."

"An Evening with Rex Reed" promises a smorgasbord of behind-the-scenes stories of Hollywood and Broadway, drawing on Reed's prolific and storied career as a critic, author, journalist and actor.

Rex Reed's film reviews have appeared in the New York Observer, Vogue, GQ and Women's Wear Daily. He has written eight books, and his essays and articles have appeared in virtually every national magazine and newspaper in London and the United States. In addition to his writing, Reed is an actor who has appeared in such films as Myra Breckinridge, Inchon and Superman. He has served on the juries of the Montreal, Venice and Berlin film festivals. For five years, he co-hosted the nationally syndicated television show "At the Movies." An ardent music lover and supporter of Broadway show music, Reed has written liner notes for such acts as Liza Minnelli, Lena Horne, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Barbara Cook and others. He is a two-time Grammy nominee.

Showtime for "An Evening with Rex Reed" is 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30.00 each and are availble by calling the Actor's Express Box Office at 404-607-SHOW or by visiting www.actors-express.com.
