Visual Arts Center of New Jersey members are invited to submit proposals for solo and group exhibitions of work in any medium, for the 2018-2019 exhibition season. There is no entry fee and all proposals received by May 1, 2018, will be considered for exhibition in the Art Center's second floor members galleries-the Marité & Joe Robinson Strolling Gallery II & Ann's Place Gallery. The 2018-2019 exhibition season runs from September 2018- June 2019.

The proposing member is responsible for curating and organizing the exhibition, including the collection and dispersal of artworks within allocated time frames, and food and beverage at the opening (if desired). Art Center staff will provide the installation space, and along with member volunteers, assist in hanging the artwork, as well as working with the organizer on an opening and publicity for the exhibition.

Exhibitions will need to include works to fill the exhibition space of 127 linear feet (84 feet in Robinson Strolling Gallery and 43 feet in Ann's Place Gallery). Two-dimensional works must be ready to hang with appropriate wire or fixtures. Works must be family friendly and appropriate for a general audience.

Completed proposals should be sent, via email, to: mcohn@artcenternj.org by May 1, 2018, with "Proposal for Members Committee" in the subject line. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Proposals must include:

• 10 images (in jpg or pdf form) representative of the work to be shown with an identifying list of the titles, sizes, and media of those images

• Contact information including name, email, and phone number of person proposing the exhibition

• A description of the exhibition including exhibition title, names of participating artist(s), and the concepts or themes that will be explored in it. (Only one proposal is required for group exhibitions. All artists included in group exhibitions must be members.)

Questions can be sent to mcohn@artcenternj.org with "ATTN Members Committee" in the subject line. All applicants will be notified by June 30, 2018, of the Members' Committee's selections for the 2018-2019 season. The Member's Committee will also decide the timing of exhibitions during the exhibition season.
