The New Dance Group's new studios received their grand opening on September 15th.

In the morning, there was an official ribbon cutting and breakfast reception with special guests, board members, and staff. Free dances classes were then offered from 11am-6pm. Hundreds of kids, dancers, and broadway talent took classes in forms ranging from hip-hop and samba to jazz and pilates. Raffle prizes, free food and drinks, and New Dance Group shirts were handed out. The evening's celebration consisted of a VIP reception, and performances of the new New Dance Group Company. Special guest Broadway stars, including Kurt Peterson, Harvey Evans, Pam Myers, Priscilla Lopez, and Cady Huffman, also performed.

New Dance Group, a 74-year old non-profit arts organization, has opened the doors to a new, state-of-the-art, 21,000 square foot facility complete with 11 studios, sprung wood floors, performance spaces, recording studio, etc.
