Original Mean Girl Lindsay Lohan Is Heading to MEAN GIRLS on Broadway

Mean Girls

According to Radar, Lindsay Lohan will attend Mean Girls on Broadway tomorrow night! The actress, who originated the now-iconic role of Cady Heron in the 2004 film Mean Girls, was reportedly not previously invited to see a performance of the recently-opened musical.

Radar says that comedian and Mean Girls bookwriter Tina Fey did not request an appearance from Lohan because the film star could become a distraction at the theater.

Mean Girls is now playing at the August Wilson Theatre. The show features Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Taylor Louderman as Regina George, a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the film, music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.
