NADA And Bronx Museum Of The Arts Announce Acquisition Gift

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and the Bronx Museum of the Arts (BxMA) are pleased to announce the NADA Acquisition Gift for BxMA, an acquisition gift for the museum's permanent collection that will be selected from the 7th edition of NADA New York, which will take place March 8-11th at Skylight Clarkson Sq.

For the acquisition gift, NADA provides a fund for BxMA curators to acquire an artwork for the museum's permanent collection. They will make their selection from the artwork displayed by the 100 of exhibitors at NADA New York, who are representing work from 33 cities and 18 different countries, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the Bronx Museum. NADA was founded in New York, and we could not be more proud to have artwork from our exhibitors in such a venerable collection," said Heather Hubbs, NADA Executive Director. "This initiative reflects our continued commitment to providing our exhibitors with unique opportunities to connect directly with influential curators."

This new initiative is designed to enhance the relationship between the museum and the fair's international roster of exhibiting galleries and artists - as well as an opportunity for NADA to support and engage with the art institutions of New York.

"This is a particularly meaningful collaboration between two New York institutions, especially as our curatorial department focuses on our permanent collection," said Bronx Museum Director of Curatorial Programs Sergio Bessa. "We look forward to selecting a work that speaks to our curators, and to the 100,000 visitors that come to the Bronx Museum each year."

Proceeds raised from NADA New York ticket sales will fund the NADA Acquisition Gift for BxMA.
