The recently recorded cast album of the first Off-Broadway revival of Jason Robert Brown's celebrated cult two-character musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS is now available to order and the album is out now.

Starring Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe, the revival of the compelling musical telling of the romantically-charged tale played at the Second Stage Theatre for a limited run earlier this year and the new recording preserves those performances and the production that contained them, directed by the author himself.

The official description of THE LAST FIVE YEARS is as follows: "Jason Robert Brown's beloved musical The Last Five Years tells the emotionally powerful story of two twenty-something New Yorkers who dive head first into a marriage fueled by the optimism that comes with finding "the one." But in a city where professional and personal passions collide and only the strongest relationships survive, navigating the waters of love and matrimony can sometimes prove too much. Funny, honest and intimate, with an exuberantly romantic score, The Last Five Years takes a bold look at one young couple's hope that love endures the test of time."

THE LAST FIVE YEARS originally played at the Minetta Lane Theatre Off-Broadway in 2002 starring Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott.

Additionally, a forthcoming feature film adaptatation starring Jeremy Jordan and Anna Kendrick, directed by Richard LaGravenese, recently completed filming and is set to be released within the next year.

THE LAST FIVE YEARS 2013 Off-Broadway Cast Recording will be released on September 24. Pre-orders may ship early according to the official website. More information is available here.
