CTI-O'Neill Summer Workshop Deadline Extended Through 7/11

The Commercial Theater Institute?s (CTI) upcoming 4th annual, CTI-O?Neill Summer Workshop, A Producing Practicum, will take place July 13-16, 2011. The four-day workshop is designed as a hands-on intensive program in which participants will develop business plans for selected plays and musicals at the O?Neill Summer Conference.

The workshop, held in Waterford, CT on the O?Neill Theater Center Campus, will include a mix of lectures, one-on-one sessions, interactions with writers and directors, as well as group discussions. The curriculum and setting provide a unique opportunity for participants to interact with artists to greater understand the process of creative development.

Tom Viertel, O?Neill Board Chair and Broadway Producer, and Jed Bernstein, CTI Program Director and Broadway Producer, will lead this unique opportunity, along with an all-star faculty from the New York theatre community.

Additionally, the O?Neill runs an accredited semester training program, the National Theater Institute, and development programs in Puppetry, Dramatic Criticism and Cabaret.
