Cast members from the hit revival of Fiddler on the Roof joined Broadway's favorite Thursday night "tradition" (see what I did there?) on March 10th for an evening of music, mayhem and much Mazel Tov!
Matt Moisey started the night of right, recounting his "Broadway's Calling" moment in the shower.... #drippingandcrying, maybe you had to be there. Following Moisey's smooth crooning, Broadway vets George Psomas and Jessica Vosk tore into a Jason Robert Brown favorite paving the way for bell tone voiced Tess Primack to do the same with 'Another Life' from Bridges of Madison County. Drama Desk winner Lori Wilner dazzled in in both Texan and German accents in her tunes from Giant and Cabaret respectively. Vosk and Psomas, after gleefully dancing through an impromptu version of 'America' from West Side Story, closed out with classics ala Barbra and Judy. At one point audience members were whisked away to learn choreography from the show while cast members answered Broadway Sessions "scientifically formulated" list of 20 questions... who did what/when is unclear, as I was laughing to hard to keep track.BROADWAY SESSIONS takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue).
