'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going', Boyle Vows to Stay On 'TALENT'

Susan Boyle has officially denied she will leave Britain's Got Talent. An ITV spokesperson confirmed that she will see her "Talent" through to the end, in spite of the pressures ahead. 

The Scottish singer will remain in the show, continue with rehearsals, and perform on Saturday's big Grand Final, the show spokesperson said tonight. Newspaper reports of an emotional outburst from Susan, as well as supposed threats to leave, "have been taken out of context, and are not serious or true". The spokesperson said, "Susan Boyle is still very much part of the Britain's Got Talent. She is looking forward to the Grand Final and she is rehearsing hard to prepare for the biggest night of her life".

Boyle herself confirmed, "I want nothing more than to stay and sing in the Britain's Got Talent final". "I've spent weeks rehearsing - it's all I've been thinking about. I'm not going to throw away my big chance now". To read the ITV report click here.

The UK Sun reported earlier that Boyle had threatened to quit the show - because she can't handle the pressures of fame. The 48-year-old singer is struggling to cope with life in the public eye and publicly went into meltdown twice this week reveals the Sun, launching four-letter rants at cops and fellow contestants' families. Boyle was interviewed by police yesterday after she went beserk in the lobby of north London's Wembley Plaza Hotel at two strangers she claimed were out to "wind her up".

One of the show's judges, Piers Morgan, said Boyle was under a great deal of pressure. "You could see the nerves almost crippling her on the semifinal show, and I just think it's time that everyone slightly backed off," he said in an interview on the LBC 97.3 radio station Thursday.

He added, "Susan is finding it very, very difficult to cope, and to stay calm. She has been in tears many times during the last few days, and even, fleetingly, felt like quitting the show altogether at one point and fleeing all the attention."

Despite her emotional outbursts, Piers insists Susan is simply a "lively, feisty character, and a wonderfully eccentric sense of humor". To read the full UK Sun article click here.
